Forging Project: Ornate Kebab Skewers

Hello everyone,
here is the next project I would like to share with you. I forged these ornate kebab skewers out of 1/4" x 1/4" square stock. I have 3 different designs that I am offering right now and I am showing you 2 of them in this video. The third one is shared on my Patreon page.

Question for the Q&A: Obviously, you have been doing this for many years, and previously mentioned that you apprenticed in Germany. Where did you apprentice? And for how long? Do you not prefer either north or south German style anvils, opposed to London pattern?

No. Life gave me a curved ball and I was and still am unable to make any videos. I am planning to return to it as soon as my situation gets a bit better.

TH-cam does funky things recently. Also I wasn't super consistent with my uploads and had quite a few months last year when I didn't post anything. Just brows through my video library to catch up.

Great project. You have probably made a smaller sized bending jig by now. I use large ones in the Hardie hole and the smaller ones clamped into my vice so I have both ready for different stages.

Awesome, so you watched it to the very end. I was wondering how many people actually see those clips. This guy was sitting and screeching on the top of the pole and actually woke us up. It didn't want to leave and I had to throw some rocks at it before it flew away. Big horned owl, he or she lives in a nearby mine.
