Hey there been a while since I hung doors on my car but when I did mine I had the guards off and hung rear of front door on the striker and fronts slotted into hinges then installed pins, never tried to do it with guards on so will be interested to see if you can make it work with front end on always plenty of ways to skin a cat
That was the original plan, but I don’t have enough room to store all the finished pieces. I’ll try how it is but may have to remove the guards, we’ll wait and see.

Yes I know brocks came with black trims. I’ve painted chrome trims black before and the paint flakes off and looks like crap, that’s why I have not painted them.
Its lookin good mate!! I have one question though! Where did you get the plastic inner guards from?? Ive owned quite a few vb, vc , vh commodores and ive never seen them! Cheers 🍻
Cheers mate 🍻 The guard liners were there when I took the guards off originally. Not sure about pre VK not having them? Could be a VK thing I’m not sure 🤔

why didn't you paint the chrome moulds black? brocks came black not chrome

@@TAVOTravsDIYGarage you should vinyl wrap them. I've done my front and rear bumper chrome .
