What are nitazenes? What you need to know about the 'new fentanyl'

แชร์

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 11 ก.พ. 2024
  • Nitazenes are 20 times more powerful than fentanyl. Nitazenes are a class of opioids now found in pills and powder sold on the street. And while Narcan can help reverse an overdose, it may take much more.

Yes!! Thank you for bringing that up. I have larynx cancer, Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (Not from smoking) and the pain is unimaginable, my eyes water, I sweat like crazy, heart races and get an extreme headache from the pain, and I've tried absolutely everything I can to get relief and no Doctor will RX us anything for it, they are all very scared.
Because of this "Opioid Epidemic" (Fear sells!!) a lot of us are suffering in extreme pain for fear of patients becoming addicted to something we didn't cause, participate in and shouldn't be suffering for just to have a little bit better quality of life because others want to abuse drugs.
Now every Doctors office you walk into has a sign, "We do not prescribe narcotics here". If they do prescribe you something it's 6 pills a month max and multiple UA's.
So if you're a Dr. reading this, please realize not all of us are drug addicts and we just want to spend a few comfortable few months we have left here on earth with the ones we love and our Husbands and Wives.

Jup, Zenes are just perfect in this new age opium war.
Literally 100x potency of Heroin, way faster and higher tolerance development, withdrawals worse than fentanyl plus a free bad acid trip on top, potential to go into delirium and probably death through heart attack, stroke, edemas or dehydration if left untreated.
Also cheap, easy to produce and the western world wants this stuff.
I think it is probably a good idea to legalize and regulate hard drugs everywhere, otherwise this cycle of new and worse drugs established over the last 20 years wont end and if zenes catch on it will be to late because there is no going back from there.

What the doctor is describing is that because this drugs is so potent dealers are able to "cut" their drugs with more additives and less of the actual psychoactive substance(in this case nitazene). This results in drug users ingesting more random substances other than the psychoactive substance.

It, like all things in a capitalist society, is about money. Everything comes down to money and how to get more of it. If a few people die from a bad batch or whatever, they don't care.

The thing is for an addict that "garbage bag of drugs" will hit them like nothing hit in years and people will start to need Opioids as potent as these in no time, same thing like the change from Heroin to Fent because of the higher potency.
Sadly all potent Zenes are way way worse than any Fentalogues, worst case narcan doesn't do anything on OD, extremely fast tolerance buildup, unimaginable withdrawals including Psychosis, delirium and probably death through heart attacks or strokes if the symptoms aren't treated by professionals, no really working or safe way to "undo " withdrawals through giving other opioids and lastly there are basically no ones with a potency high enough to substitute or even fast taper these substances. It's honestly the perfect class of drugs for an opium war. super cheap, highly addictive both physically and mentally in as little time as a week of use and super potent so you can easily smuggle a lot of doses with low risk of getting caught + being able to stretch it to infinity while people used to cut up H or street fent will still be nodding after a small hit.
Sounds like the perfect storm to me.

What's extremely scary is, that for a lot of the super potent Zenes it doesn't matter, Naloxone can't revert a lot of Nitazene type Opioids because, well, no one really knows, but the best guess is a high binding affinity to the opioid receptors.
Oversimplified the Naloxone/Naltrexone cant rip the drug off of the receptor and dock on it to reverse the effects.

Prohibition always fails, but governments never learn from their past mistakes. If they did, alcoholic prohibition would have them realize that prohibition of things people want isn't going to stop them and in fact will make everything worse for everyone. @ZezopSlop-xv7cp There has to be balance. Cannabis should be entirely legal as it's on the same level of risk as vegetables and chocolate. Other things should be limited to adults. Should be places to buy everything that is kept clean and safe and the manufacturers should produce safe (as can be considering the circumstances) products. Keep the price lower than anything the cartels and drug dealers can do. Provide free rehab to anyone who asks for it. Free counseling. Free mental help. And, loads of education. The ultimate goal here would be to prevent people from using to begin with and to handle the ones who are already using in a safe manner and rehab as many current users as possible while putting the cartels out of business. The problem is, the government sucks at doing anything right or logical so this would never happen right so we are in a lose lose situation. We lose if they are illegal, we lose if they are legal.

    • @willrose592
      @willrose592 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@ZezopSlop-xv7cp Lol - there's way more to it than just legalizing drugs. We have to provide pharmaceutical-grade drugs that have quality control enacted for sale in lieu of black market forms. Doing so would also kill the cartels in a matter of months. Tax the drugs at 30%, and use the tax dollars to fund all the detoxes and rehabs for people wanting to be clean. It 100% could work - just like liquor stores took the place of moonshine during prohibition. Alcohol is actually the deadliest, most dangerous drug in the world according to decades of data. It's not even close. Do some actual research - legalizing drugs is only one of like 6-7 steps needed in order to solve the issue.

Just think about the logistics of the government spying on “everyone.” The entire federal government staff is under 5% of the population, and that is ALL government workers like the Coast Guard, agencies, IRS, DMV, etc, How can 1% of people spy on 99 people…and again that is if every federal worker does nothing but spy on people, so more like one spy would need to monitor 5-10k people. That can’t be done,

It was millions of peoples choice to trust their doctor when they prescribed them large amounts of Oxycontin and were told it was perfectly safe and not addictive. Pharmaceutical companies made millions of good citizens into drugs addicts, it’s not always a choice, once they become dependent their brains aren’t working correctly.

The heroin market was relatively standardized and secure for almost 100 years. Our current situation actually is somewhat of an anomaly. At this point I say just let people have safer alternative options. After all it's a lot easier to be a functional opioid addict than a functional alcoholic once you take the factors associated prohibition out of the equation

stronger does NOT equal better or more enjoyable! It just means you have to take LESS to achieve an equianalgesic response (same number of mu opioid receptors saturated) but this still does NOT equal a similar intracellular response which is why one drug might be more enjoyable than another despite the fact that it is WEAKER.
