    slyce is one of my fav DJs. Especially that Billie Jean and David Bowie beat juggles legendary shit. Also that OH Yeah beat juggle in 99 was fukin sick. 98' jus seemed a bit sloppy. but hes still a legend

    How do you go on after Craze? watching him Chang the whole game before your eyes.

    The reverse beat juggle was hella tight! Another DJ who pioneered that technique was DJ Static from Denmark. And about the Run DMC routine, it wasn't actually "Sucker MC's", it was "Here We Go".

      the first reverse beat juggle that actually sounded decent in competition was probably swamp at the 96 us dmc final in san francisco

      I remember that DJ. He's the one that destroyed the vinyl, and scratched his bare body with the broken edges in the '96 World Final.

      Kalonji Rivers right he also licked the needle at the 95 east coast finals

    I guess he wasn’t in a good day to compete. Specially for closing that night after Craze and Shortkut performances. :)

      Poor Slyce. Lotta skipping, but you could see some of those juggles had some serious funk. He really redeemed himself the following year. Great tablist.

    • @MichaelShum
      @MichaelShum  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      it really wasn't that bad of a set, even with the skips

      Michael Shum can’t have been easy going on after Craze that year either!

      Funny you said that, especially when Craze stumbled the year before, and it was Slyce's time to shine in the 1997 World Final-although he didn't win the championship.

    Definitely not one of his best performances. The audio on his right table was having issues.

    Slyce is a fucking legend. I dont know what happend in 98. He still shows so much skill but i dont think he perfected this routine sounds like a rough draft. Then 99 he reminded us why he is a all time great behind craze klever precision iemerge
