If you watch the whole contest, a lot of dj's could have won that awesome year : DJ Craze : unbeatable, DJ Crazy B : original turntables disposition and very very close but always second... dj Akakabe : amazing technic and fast moves, dj Dexta from The Avalanches group : amazing choice of music and technic, DJ A Trak : young and true djing talent, DJ Static and DJ Jay K : the most groovy and funky, old School routine ! DJ Mouss : scratch power and great arabic melody, Prime cuts : good technic and nice sound choice, DJ Kollasso : awesome scratching technic and nice music groove, Dj Coki : friendly and funny. Too hard for the juges :) small exception : DJ Lil'Jaz : boring and disappointing...
@@ashylarry3364 that's just my opinion, and for me, he wasn't at the same level than his opponents... good dj but not good enough that year, which was for me the best dmc final battle ever !
The top 3 from the US finals would have won world in 98. It wasn't that close but it was a very good year. Dexta had parts that were fire, Static had a clean set, Crazy B was skillfull, but c'mon.....Craze was another level.
Watched this vhs over and over in 98/99
Me too!
I as well!!!
Kids these days don’t know about having to rewind/fast forward to get to your favourite bit 😂
Favorite dmc battle Championship 1998 Paris the Heyday of some dope Hip Hop, love to USA and one love to all representing.

Craze! Dudes so well rehearsed!
I’ve been looking for this!!! Watched it so many times back in the day
I love the lil jaz routine...
Watching about for the "per
fect" DJ. Banzai.
Merci pour la vidéo !!!!
Please, what says the last phrase of Crazy B????
Its an sample of a french film called les tontons flingueurs
They were all pretty amazing (well apart from the first dj, he was a bit pants).
Looking for the Electric Boogaloos solo...!
Me too ! Lol
@@NicolasBouhelier haha loool, I completely forgot I was looking for it here.
Anybody know what the name of the drum break is that DJ JK uses right at 11:07?
I think it was Roc Raida's breaks

Still watching the 98 & 99 VHS in 2020 :)
You’re tripping if you think lil jazz’s set was boring. It went over people’s heads.
