I have never gone ahead and just bought 1 turtle, but when buying the Playmates 2 packs so I could get Shredder, Rocksteady, and Bebop (was cheaper buying the 2 packs, than single releases for the 3 villains)... I ended up with 3 turtles. Raphael is packed with Triceraton: a character I'm not really aware of, so my Playmates TMNT team remains incomplete. That said, I have gotten a few random turtles from charity op-shops... but I don't count them, as those are usually in iffy condition and are bargain purchases so I can experience a toy I've not handled before. Not the type to go into displays, or try and collect all 4.
Saw that Turtles box set once at target. Once. Picked it up, contemplated putting it in my cart, decided i didn't feel like spending that much that particular day.. and never saw them again😅
Based on Super7's other large vinyl offerings my best guess on the Tiamat is $350 minimum but I'd say $450 is probably closer to what it's actually going to be... :(

I don't leave comments much but dang it, Robo is probably the ToyTuber that is most like my own sensibilities that its crazy. Let's overlook the obvious name similarity (I've been called Robo since a drunken Robocop impression I did back in college in 1988) but the combination of the "live and let live attitude" plus potty mouth innuendo and love of all things toys (especially X-Men and all manner of robots) its kind of weird...in a good way. I'm kind of sad they didn't give us alternate heads for that Rogue/Destiny pack. Would have been nice to at least get an unmasked head for Destiny and an alternate for Rogue would help fill out that pack

Those Yolopark Optimus and Megatron are making ALOT of peoples top 10 lists for 2024 so far. I kind of want the Optimus because it's really not that expensive, but I do have the new ($500) Masterpiece Optimus and don't know if I "NEED" the model kit one... but it does look excellent and I could use that one to tinker with versus the super expensive one... hmmm
Considering the end of the rewind, here's my best guess for X-Men 97 Wave 3: Morph, Jubilee, Beast, Sunfire, Bastion, Death Bird (considering both the hero/villain and male/female ratio of the first two waves)
It wasn't until I was editing that I realized the pic I posted is a pretty good wave 3, except Nightcrawler. Have to decide whether to put Jubilee or Sunspot in.
When Suncoast was still around I pre-ordered a set of KISS figures, sold separately but came in a box. 🤷 Maybe the TMNT will come as a case, or maybe they will have cardboard boxes at the booth you can throw them back in.
I'm really hoping the Destiny two-pack means a new Mystique is on Hasbro's release list for later this year or early next year. But I'd also like a Morph in that X-men 97 costume, it's close enough for me to use it as an Exile as long as they don't do crazy eye makeup like last time.
The Star Wars holiday figures can be fun, but also so random. I would’ve thought a bulkier character like Wrecker or even pieced together Saw Guerrera would’ve been a better representation of Frankenstein’s monster. They haven’t even sniffed an opportunity to re-use that Saw mold that’s going for pennies
With the Rouge and Destiny two pack , Hasbro missed a few things they could have done. It would have been cool with the unmasked Destiny, but they could have given us a Outback Dazzler head with the Destiny mask and knife in it when Spiral stuck it to her. It could fit on the Dazzler that was in the MoJo world box set and would have added to the Outback team and been a perfect fit for this. Also could have given Rogue powered up power siphoning hands because we are getting the Ms Marvel/Warbird it would have worked great alongside that.
I really like that Mirage Turtle line, with one exception, I want the different color bandanas (and yes I know they are accurate... but I don't collect turtles, and want just one set of figures and that is the best looking within the budget range I have, other than that one exception)

My Turtle collection is the Slash, The Last Ronin, and The Wanderer so in don't feel like I'm missing out on the whole team. Just the ecclectic sorta turtles
BFS Garfield...slightly lower than 4 inches is ok for me, but then price point seems to be bit higher...it must be $20 ish...like Jakks Pacific is making Simpsons with less articulated figures around 5 inches and those are $12 ish. Bandai still was not able to get the unmasked head...that's just sad.
My current faves are those Ben cooper neca five inch spooky kids wave. I'm gonna give them knives and sit with Vincent Price when he gets released over here.
