As a child of eight, I had the privilege of meeting both Deanna and her father Dean. My dad and I were moving her into her home in Palm Springs and Dino had stopped by. Both very gracious very kind people especially to an eight-year-old girl. Thank you for that, it made a wonderful impression

At the end of his life, he suffered his greatest personal blow when his youngest son was killed in an Air Force accident which the AF blamed the son. The Martin family knew differently, and years later, the AF acknowledged it was the AF’s fault. At this time, Martin became reclusive and would eat at his favorite Steak House without acknowledging fans. He died Inside. Dean Martin loved his family until the end. Jerry Lewis disinherited his children. That is the mark of a Real Man, Dean Martin.
