I need a load equalizer. I have a 2018 iron 883 and the light is bright likeits breaking and the hazard, brake light and turn signal dont work. It stays on one light and blinks fast when I hit the turn signal. What equalizer would I be using for this? Any ideas? EDIT: i got the 1156 single filament instead of the proper 1157 double filament lights. They are plug and play and didnt need any additional items. Fixed it.
Mine had a fast blink at first then went away. Thinking the cpu had to self adjust. Try disconnecting the battery sometimes that will reset the cpu
@@TonysGarage yea I brought the wrong lights lol. The 1157 worked fine with no extra stuff needed.
Ahh! That wasn’t a bad video at all Tony! Lol, extremely informative. Only difference from this install to your newest one on front blinkers is you didn’t turn off the lights! But who cares! Nice job!
Thanks, the rear ones I think are a bigger difference than the front. Those are older versions also I’m sure the newer one are better. Thanks again for watching!
Sorry to harp on the same subject Tony but the new rear LED’s would definitely be a “Plug & Play” install on the Slim right?
Big Daddy Yes sir, unless your bike is older say 2013 then you will need a load stabilizer. Which is also plug & play just an extra part you have to buy. If I remember correctly you have a new one so you are good to go!

Having bit of nightmare here at the moment with my nightster 2008 , I'm trying to install new mini led custom indicators & mini led rear / stop light , I just can't work it out the wiring is soo weird !!! The rear light is on , indicators is on but when I press the brake , the only light is flash on is the indicators light instead rear stop light :( , or I can get the rear light working when I press brake & stop light is on but when I push indicator button there is no flashing on it but it's stayed on .... Can you / anyone help here pleaseeee 🙏🏼 thanks

Tony, can you fix the link, description, or some of the comments? You say below in the comments these are 1157, your link above says 1156. The link goes to 1156, they don't fit my 2019 883. Or am I misunderstanding something?

How did you install the middle brake light?
+Half Dog DK Customs makes the light it just uses double sided tape to mount and plugs right in your existing wire harness under the seat.

They come from Harley and dk custom both work very well and easy to install. Ride safe.

My bike is iron XL1200NS 2019 with amber lens , couldn’t find that space to remove lens
This installation is for the USA home market Iron which has incandescent bulbs and red rear lenses, as your lenses are amber I take it that your bike isn't a USA spec machine. My UK spec Iron 883 has the 3-in-1 LED rear lights, the amber lenses on these units are glued in place and therefore non removable.
