  • Have you ever wondered how you should prep glass before painting it? And how to cure it when you have finished painting to ensure the paint does NOT come off when washing the glass?
I will show you the process I follow which has never let me down. This process works for any glassware, e.g. jars, wine glasses, candleholders, and vases.
0:41 Prep - Removing labels and printed dates
3:38 Paint - Designs and painting
    5:20 Cure - Oven curing

You could also hreat the label glue with a hair dryer. No mess

Yeah absolutely. There are a number of ways to get the labels off.

Thanks for sharing. You are using the liquitex medium. Whats the proper name of it and how much do you need in the paint?
    Many thanks

Liquitex Glass Medium is its proper name, actually. :) When adding to my palette I use about 2 drops in each color.

This particular brand I've not personally used, so I am not 100% sure. You may need to check with the manufacturer's website/Facebook. Otherwise most brands will put this info on the bottle if they are able to be used with an oven cure.
Maybe another viewer will pop by and assist as well.
