That interview felt like when you’re replaying a video game to choose all of the worst possible dialogue options to see what the difference of the outcome would’ve been 💀
lmao true. When she said "be real with me, do you really think it's a good idea to go into a job interview and reference porn?" I was stunned at how long it took him to answer, like he genuinely wasn't sure. I'm not necessarily convinced he was deliberately tanking that interview. Part of me thinks he's actually just that self-destructive, or that he has the mentality that if he points out every one of his many and significant flaws to people they can't be used against him.

@@CrèmeTropBrûlée I'm not native either so maybe people can add on the state specific details but: "LA 10" seems to be some super model type as LA is where a lot of the TV/Movie personality actors/actresses live. "Arkansas 8" I am not sure about this, but since LA 10 = supermodel, we probably can assume Arkansas 8 is the opposite. I assume that what is suggested is: people rate 'less attractive' people higher than they actually are because of the general population not being as pretty as for example in LA. Shallow statement from Boogie and frankly surreal hearing that from him. Best I can do, hope it helps.

@@CrèmeTropBrûlée theres 2 parts to it, the number which is 0-10 is your basic rating scale, the other part is a little more confusing but basically just means that someone whos an 8 in arkansas (which is a state) would be nowhere near as good looking as an LA 8 or whatever, just means people look better/sluttier in certain states or cities
@@CrèmeTropBrûléeyes, there was a recent trend going around about Los Angeles 10/10s, or Miami 10/10s, which are cities "known" for their beautiful women. I don't mean to sound negative, and I'm saying this as someone who manages others. Nobody exits probation. Even if you do "check the boxes", you're out the next time there's a layoff first thing. Probation is a way to shield the company from liability. So unless there is something specific that got you on probation (like you showed up drunk a bunch and are no longer doing that), it's your signal to look for another job...don't try to salvage this one, they already told you they don't want you there.
I feel as though the documentary is just another excuse to try to feel sorry for him. Like, who makes a whole documentary on someone's current self-destructive lifestyle? It's for pity, and instead of feeling sorry for himself, he should just try bettering himself and realize that it's never too late to start going forward in life.
Agreed. The sex worker thing is gross and disgusting. The way he is talking and thinking about women, he deserves to be alone for the rest of his life. Sadly he found a damaged young soul with daddy issues he can exploit and manipulate. I hope his "girlfriend" gets out of this hell soon.

Many years ago I was out of work and the benefits people forced me to go to an interview for a job I did not want. I made sure I did not get that job by being honest about a few things I knew would make them not want me. It was a great tactic. What I said though was tame compared to Boogie and he literally brought up every single thing about himself that any self respecting employer would automatically say "nope".
It was intentional. He never went there with any intention to get a job. He doesn't want a job. Only reason he went there is for the entertainment of it and getting attention.
@OpalLeigh He sabotaged it on purpose so he can point at it and go "See? No one will hire me! I only beg online for money because there simply is no alternative!" Poor man-baby. This hurts so much to say too as someone who used look up to Boogie 😥
this happens sometimes in sweden, if you dont have a job then the goverment forces you to search for jobs to and apply to them, if you dont do it they might cutt of your wwellfair checks you get from being unemployed. so some people that gets interviews to jobs they dont want do shit like this to stay on goverment payroll.
The job firm employee listening to Boogie list off all of the things that can be found when looking him up online is the pure epitome of 'excuse me what the fuck'.
"I have no work experience (even though he said he worked before) "No references (again they could contact the place he once worked unless they closed down, but that was 17 years ago too) "If you look up my name you may see rumors I beat my ex wife (excuse me?) His parents probably bought him every new video game system and any toys or action figures he wanted, and his teachers never got on him for neglecting his schoolwork. There's such a stark contrast between how he interacts in a professional setting compared to how a refined academic markets himself to potential employers.
He's really the prime example of a waste of genetics. He just continues to run his life into the toilet while blaming everything else, all while not even looking at how his own attitude is causing it. She really said it perfectly. the thing is that with bojack you can argue that he DID go through a severe amount of abuse as a child and at points tried to be better even if he failed boogie has actively lied about his childhood and gives up the second he has to take action and be accountable
@@zekeiwa5837ive said it once, ill say it again: Boogie is how people would have perceived Bojack had we didnt watch the entire show. We find it easier to sympathize with Bojack because we've seen his story, his intimate moments where he has the potential to be good but at the end of the day, is his own worst enemy. That's why the people who have watched the show, or at least some them, tend to romanticize him and/or believe and that he isnt so "bad". But Boogie on the other hand, how a lot of people react to him now is how the people in the show reacted to Bojack after his 2nd interview. They dont know he had a shitty childhood, that he has issues and he's trying to be better, that when he did some of the worst things in his life, it wasnt out of malice or pure evilness. However, something crucial to remember is that you're not judged for your intentions, but for your actions and their consequences, and the show made that gradually clear as every episode passed by. And even if Hollywoo did know about his sad life, it doesnt matter to them--without that connection the audience developed while watching the show, they find it easier to condemn him because the only thing that truly mattered at the end of the day was that Bojack still did those things, and no amount of tragic backstory is going to help erase or lessen the consequences of those actions. And Boogie is the same thing.
Boogie would be one of the few people on this planet who, if you traveled back in time, showed him his future, and told him he could avoid this if he made better choices, he'd still willingly make the same mistakes and say, "Well, I can't avoid destiny."
Boogie's problem is he's comfortable. He isn't changing because he's happy with how things are. His constant trauma dumping is less about actual pain and more about him loving the idea of defining his story as a tragedy.
It’s the easy path honestly, he’d rather sit on his arse getting more unhealthy getting poorer and poorer till one day he dies and people see it as a tragedy as a man who at one point had it all and then lost the battle with his demons. The reality of the situation is this man refuses to put in the work and self restraint it would take to fix his life, he could take that money he’s blowing on screwing models and get a gym membership and a personal trainer, hell for the money he’s spent he could get someone to make healthy meals for him on a weekly basis (plenty of places offer these sort of services), he could start looking at what modern content creators are doing and revamp his channel to get viewers again (he has about 5mill subs but most of his recent video views are less than 50k) once he’s getting money from that he could then get in touch with a financial planner who can put his money in safer hands to mature and look after him so this doesn’t happen again and clear his debts.

Yeah but I mean real talk his best bet is probably to get hired for TH-cam editing right? Boogie is pretty TH-cam famous for all the wrong reasons. So do we really think he'll easily find an editing job at least on TH-cam? Otherwise he has to try and find someone outside of TH-cam to do editing for. He used to use his childhood abuse as a shield, mental health as a shield, he then used s**cide as a shield and now he's using cancer of all things to try and deflect backlash. Once you know his tactics, he is so transparent and irredeemable.
He didn't mention his CANCER or AUTISM in this documentary for some strange reason, two of his most serious conditions that should be very easily proven... Just so happens these two are the two most rumored to be 100% fabricated by Boogie as well, big surprise there folks! The place he claimed he got the tism diagnosed from doesn't do ANY autism testing whatsoever, let alone for adults. He's a fat liar, full stop, end of story.
@@ydowgen The cancer mentioned in the documentary is actually referring to a cancerous mole he had cut out about 20 years ago. There's no mention of the alleged cancer he is claiming to be suffering from right now, which is interesting because he's magically feeling the affects of it now that he's receiving backlash!
He should serve as a deterrent example of being terminally online. Anyone can and will become a Boogie if they completely lose themselves on social media.

There is literally no one who is not deeply flawed and suicidally depressed who stays at his weight bracket as long as he has.
@@orangutanenthusiast5631 A bit odd then that boogie doesn't deflect the severity then, huh. He used to love talking about exactly how severe it was. Watch his draw your life or one of his h3h3 podcast appearances. If those things truly happened to him, he wouldn't be so cavalier about it. He just loves having a woe is me excuse for every one of his one shortcomings. There comes a time when you have to start blaming yourself for what bad actions you make in life. Or in boogies case inaction.
I remember when I was a kid I used to like watching boogie for mainly gaming takes and some other random stuff, and I still remember his "...coming at you through the power, of the internet" and what a nice part of my childhood on yt he was. I haven't really followed his situation in years and I can barely stomach finding out just what went wrong
The fact that Boogie had Diamond Dallas Page, a man who has his own yoga program and is well-documented in helping so many people and turning their lives around for the better, come in to help him with his weight loss and Boogie did absolutely nothing with it is the most telling thing when it comes to his health. The opportunity was right there and he threw it away.
i met Boogie several times at conventions between 2013 and 18. 13-17 he was amazing. he was so down to earth and friendly. he remembered me and several other people. he asked about how certain things were going in my life, etc. he was very generous with his time talking to everyone. and all the other guests at this convention gushed about what a great guy he was. you couldn't find anyone who would say a bad thing about him. 18 just didn't feel the same. he made some comments about his ex that kinda sat weird with me (though i dont remember the exact comment just, that it felt weird coming from him) as well as a few other things. again, I don't remember everything he said but, a lot of it just felt really.....off. i stopped following him as much then. always wanted to believe maybe he was just dealing with some shit and was in a rough patch. that the Boogie id met and talked to so many times before would come back, but he never did. its really sad to see how far he has fallen. makes me wonder how much of those interactions was genuine if any of it was.
It was definitely eye opening. The fact they had to take a break recording because it was too depressing for the team is insanity. He’s a joy succubus, whose sole drive is making everyone feel miserable for him.
That reminds me of that episode of the Boondocks where a documentary host keeps trying to interview Huey and his absolute apathy due to "Retiring" starts to make the guy miserable just sharing the room with him.
Untreated mental trauma comes back in middle age. But as an adult he has to take charge, and not wallow. I know this first hand. For the first time in my life, I love my life. I love this world. It takes some of us decades to get over our adolescence. I urge everyone to love yourselves. Self care is everything. Exercise, decent diet, and therapy! Therapy doesn't have to be sitting in an office talking to a therapist. It could be Yoga, or Tai chi. Anything that lets you center yourself and really think, and feel. Your life won't be perfect, but you'll be much more ready to deal with things as they come. Sorry for the long comment. I'm just really passionate about helping those to get where I am without wasting so much time.
omg this guy is totally an energy vampire. He drains everyone around him and feeds off their energy. You could literally see that interviewer go from "I'm excited to help you!" to "Dear god, I've made a horrible mistake, how do I get out of this room?" And I'm guessing that is how every single interaction with him goes. Once people truly stop listening to him and giving him attention, he will have all the excuse to finish his story in a terrible way, and thereby confirm he is the ultimate "victim" of a cruel and uncaring world. This isn't a person, it's a walking bag of neuroticism heading for a cliff.
😂, “ Hi how are you” “ I am 400 pounds, I’m disabled, I have no references, no education, no work history, no drive, if you Google me I beat my ex wife?! 😂 wtf is wrong with this person.
He could totally go stock shelves at a grocery store or Wal-mart. He'd get a steady paycheck, benefits and would lose weight moving boxes and pallets around after a few months. He'd be around people and be moving around constantly. A simple job like that could change his mindset.
Yeah but he considers jobs to be beneath him. He talks about going out and finding a job with the same tone you use when talking about like catching an STD or something disgusting.
Heck, that's my first job! Something simple and easy to get myself adjusted to having a job/schedule, while I slowly reattempt college. It's done a lot for my mental health. Like yeah, I get anxious around people, but being around people for work and learning how to navigate that sort of stuff has helped a lot. Also, sitting at home all the time made my mental health significantly worse. Ya gotta go out and do stuff, y'know?
It’s so frustrating. I also feel bad for the sugar babies who are starting out and don’t realize that even though they’re paying for a service you can still say no. You don’t HAVE to do anything you’re uncomfortable with. I unfortunately see other women getting into this and thinking it’ll be easy and get overwhelmed or pressured to do things they don’t want to do because of the money. I am not in that community but I have met people who are and I like to look into why people join the community and the reality of actually being a sex worker not just an OF model; like the real physical work of it. It can be super dangerous man mentally and physically.
I thought *exactly* the same thing when I watched it and I'm glad Charlie brought attention to that specific portion. He's obviously beyond misogynistic and his sense of entitlement is laughable. He doesn't exist outside of his 24/7 pity party. And I personally think he needs to be written off by the entire internet. I think he'll end up in prison at some point.
the "talking out of the grave" aspect or also the "if only i HAD done xyz" i can atleast relate to that part, its virtually impossible to bring up the the amount of motivation and determination to change something when you cant even manage to care anymore about anything really, ive been struggling with it for years now and i just cant
I struggle a lot with self-degrading thoughts in times when I’m sad, angry, frustrated, etc., and I get intrusive thoughts that are basically the exact same things Boogie says about himself. “I can’t “I can’t” “I can’t” “It’s too late” “There’s nothing I can do”. Seeing him like this is almost like looking into another timeline for me. I can’t help but wonder if I could have ended up just like Boogie if I gave in to those awful, terrible thoughts.
It's okay to have those thoughts sometimes, especially when upset. In fact, most people do. The difference between you and Boogie is that you didn't surrender to them, and he did. It's sad to watch a person throw their life away, but it seems to me there's a part of him that feeds on the negative attention it gets him. I'm a stranger, but I'm proud of you for not giving in. You didn't end up like him, and you won't.
For me, it's kinda like I'm at a crossroads between fully giving up on life like he did vs continuing to try and make things better. I've been stuck in the self degrading "I can't I can't I can't" mindset for like 4 years now, and while I do have genuine barriers, none of them are nearly as big as the way I treat myself. I'm only 22, and somehow it feels like my life is over already, which is absolutely ridiculous. I have no reason to think that way. How do you break out of shit like this? I'm so pissed off at myself for being my own worst enemy, and for not taking responsibility, yet I STILL haven't done anything about it. I just sleep all day and play videogames all night. Which obviously doesn't feel fulfilling, but I don't even know what would be fulfilling
Boogie is just an awful person. So it’s 100% likely u wouldn’t. Boogie even admited years ago having grape fantasies about his sister and his mom. He’s just a sick headed individual who thinks that his fame or the fame he had is an excuse to being a degenerate

Had a girlfriend like this before I met my current wife. No matter how much effort i put in, no matter what I did to try to better our lives and our situation she was always ready at a moments notice to rip it down and pull the anxiety and depression card. We couldnt even talk normally and have a typical conversation because the moment I'd try to relieve some stress from my day by either talking about it or just unwinding with a hobby, she'd immediately turn it on its head. You can only help people who want to help themselves, and when people dont want to help themselves, theres nothing you can do.

I workd two jobs but I just lost one the other day. I’ve been feeling horrible, like I’ve seriously failed myself and others around me. But seeing something like this is still making me really appreciate what I do have and what I am capable of. Guess it could always be worse.
Man, jobs come and go. It’ll be alright. Focus on the fact you are healthy and capable of working. There are plenty of jobs out there, and this is only pushing you more towards what you’re meant to do. I am permanently disabled, and coming out of a near decade of being bedridden/housebound; and losing everything in 2018, in surviving California’s most deadly wildfire. To which, that wildfire not only forced me to move out of state, which, got me the health care I very desperately needed - I, also, am receiving a settlement, from the power company that started it. I couldn’t be more thankful for the events that lead me to these things - as well as receiving them. Though, I’m not gonna lie - I do fear the future, because of my disabilities. It was already difficult for me to hold down a job, prior to becoming ill- being, at the time, unknowingly autistic/ADHD (and came from a family with diagnosed narcissistic personality disorder, something I had no idea of; and all my health issues were related to severely dysfunctional adrenals, from the stress I grew up in; physically painful symptoms starting around the age of 6). I survived a near decade of Munchhausen’s by Proxy, in the hands of my “caretaker” mother, while bedridden/housebound. I have only just been able to get away from her, though, she is still in my life, for the time being, until I can figure out a way I don’t screw myself over when I cut her out and go no contact. I don’t know what the future holds, or how I will be able to financially survived. Especially, because I still require medical care, and need to stay on SSI to receive it, so I don’t end up with medical bills, that’ll make it impossible for me to survive (I have had medical bills equaling over a million dollars, Thankfully, Charity Care took care of it. I will definitely give my mother credit for her doing all the paperwork and what was necessary to make it happen). My point to sharing all of this with you is: Again, as long as your health and able to work.. You’ve got the whole world in the palm of your hands. You didn’t fail yourself. Not embracing what you are, truly, capable of is failing yourself. Warmest regards and all the best.
Don't feel too bad about it. If you're not making at least $50k, then the job probably isn't worth it, and you can probably do better with the right skill set. I came back to the Target I worked at as a teenager and confronted the manager who fired me once I had a great salaried job in the bag. It was the best feeling in the world, even though I was trespassed from the premises.
The fact that Boogie spent around $200K on HOOKERS instead of paying off his home removed any sympathy that we could have possibly had for him… His life isn’t a tragedy or sadness he’s just literally a terrible person.

Boogie being a live action Bojack Horseman is definitely a comparison i didnt expect to fit so neatly when observing his downward spiral
This is a great comment for those who romanticize Bojack and his lifestyle/personality
the thing is that with bojack you can argue that he DID go through a severe amount of abuse as a child and at points tried to be better even if he failed
boogie has actively lied about his childhood and gives up the second he has to take action and be accountable

So do we really think he'll easily find an editing job at least on TH-cam? Otherwise he has to try and find someone outside of TH-cam to do editing for. Which while possible means having to look which I'm guessing is a whole no go for him. Not defending him at all just trying to realistically talk about the odds of it actually happening.
Bro, these skills are in the process of getting automated.
Would you hire a morbidly obese felon with a track record of failing to meet deadlines for every sort of thing imaginable from video posting to losing weight? Not to mention the crutch of pleading disability, depression and everything else he'd cry as stumbling blocks to avoid personal accountability.
What got me about the documentary is that he is upset about his health and weight and that doctors don't know how to help him, yet almost every shot of him in the video he has a mountain dew in his hand.
My favorite part was when they were interviewing an escort he had previously hired, and she legit said, "Sleeping with Boogie was the reason I quit sex work"
Fucking Christ.

He did have surgery though. He just put all the weight back on due to lack of discipline.@@HanDaimond

Exactly. Misery loves company.
I used to watch his videos all the time, and this is pretty much exactly what made me stop watching his content or even liking him as a person. He addressed this video on Twitter by hiding behind his so-called cancer diagnosis (which was mysteriously never mentioned in this documentary). This guy is unbelievable. Once you know his tactics, he is so transparent and irredeemable.
Hey you can't say that he has the tism so it's okay.
Also now he is blind and crippled. So even more victim points
He's a fat liar, full stop, end of story.

i met Boogie several times at conventions between 2013 and 18. 13-17 he was amazing. he was so down to earth and friendly. he remembered me and several other people. he asked about how certain things were going in my life, etc. he was very generous with his time talking to everyone. and all the other guests at this convention gushed about what a great guy he was. you couldn't find anyone who would say a bad thing about him.

You’re stronger brother, if he is strong enough to ever get where you are in life then he’s succeeded. You’re beautiful brother keep going

My point to sharing all of this with you is:
