Build Guide for Valheim Beginners - Step-by-Step Round Starter House

  • When I was looking for Valheim starter house guides, almost every one was anything but beginner level. With Valheim dropping for XBox on Game Pass, I wanted to make sure new Valheim players had a guide for an easy round starter house build that you could easily do right at the beginning of the game.
    Watch this video for a step-by-step guide to building your first round Valheim house and some awesome beginner tips and tricks while you are at it. Get your Valheim Xbox world started off right.

    Nice build! I tried it out today. Same location. I even built an outside deck that leads onto a pier for fishing! Then I dug a moat around the whole thing and let the water come in. 🙂

      Thanks Mike! Definitely a good idea for a dock/pier as well. Moats are clutch!

    Until recently I could never get a non rectilinear roof to look right, and being a perfectionist, I could not tolerate a bad appearance.
    I recently built a large round structure, 8m on each of the 16 faces, elevated off the ground on raised earth pillars. I use it as a portal hub.

      I bet that looks sick! I was going to tackle something similar myself as I need a new portal shed in my main save

      @@DrLootCrate It houses 48 portals. The floor is black marble at the eight cardinal directions infilled with grey stone. The walls are more black marble. The exterior alternates between panels with crystal windows and panels with dvergr metal walls. The roof is all shingles. It is strikingly modern in appearance.
