I’m in Jamaica right now and I can confirm it’s not bad at all … idk why people love panic and fear… there are almost 800 shelters across the island .. the prime minister has done a tremendous job and still continuing to do so .. Jamaicans biggest problem is they don’t listen.. stay in your home or evacuate to a shelter it’s really as simple as that

They go to work in snow storms. Why Americans complain about life's little challenges but foreigners will live in America and NEVER complain. Grow a thick skin people. The storm shall pass.

I just watched another clip that was taped 1 or 2 days before the hurricane hit Montego Bay. The smiling USA tourists remained on the beach laughing and saying, “Oh well. There’s nothing I can do but batten down the hatches.” Now this video is showing reality! Good job girl. Stay safe!
You normally get like 3 days warning for a Hurricane. Sometimes a week. It's not about checking the weather. Jamaica hasnt had a hurricane in over a decade.
The houses stand firm over here. No deaths. The only problem is the power outage and the cell towers that are down. The heat and mosquitoes besides that we good.
I'm 56, trying to act like a 21 yr old 'woke' person, playing victim all the time, acting depressed, barely because it's the fashion/order of the day, instead of sticking together with the people there to get through this, showing everybody who don't want to know that I'm eating trash food leaving it on display, and I'm silly enough to present myself in 'selfie-Insta-manner' to large TV stations in my underwear in my bathroom.
