- Hey Guys, Migs Here! In today’s video, we are swapping in a new engine for the free go kart we picked up a few videos ago! 40,41 and 420 chains will work on the same sprocket..
41 won't fit on a 40 thick sprocket. You can run 40 on a 41 sprocket, but not the opposite. He might have a 41 sprocket though.
I guess the sprocket he has is unique. I can run all 3 chain sizes on the same sprocket. No problems
I would get that old engine running because I’m cheap.

@@dirtbikekid2951 it’s more like this after the Big Bang there was debris and either this debris burned up or they combined and kept combining into big planets and that’s where all the rock planets come from and many years later we got the moon from the same way and that’s how the earth was formed
And this is the most simplifications I can make to it and it’s all thanks to science

Use a little 1/8” thickness yard trimmer line (about an 8” piece) push it down in the hole leaving just a little piece sticking out where a spark plug would sit and this locks up the cylinder from moving up and down. That’s a great way to get the shaft bolt out of a small engine

How did you install that clutch onto the new shaft? The old one had a bolt that kept in on, looks like you hammered it into the new shaft and cut something off?

How funny, I found a old go kart with the same Briggs and Stratton engine.
You should put a piece of flat bar across the plate for the torque converter. That’s what that system is. I had a carter years ago when I was a kid and the plate will eventually bend especially with a new engine.

What's up bro great video!! I have an issue. My gas container must have cracked or whatever because it's not holding my gas. I can see it leaking out the seems! Is there a way for me to repair or replace just that container? Or do I have to buy a whole new engine 🤔?
The Briggs flathead is a good engine , but out of production for a while . Only 5hp , and race parts are getting much harder to find. (they used to build these to 12 or 13hp) That carb is the "low emission" pulsi-jet , fixed main jet , total junk. If...you can locate a fuel tank it will be about $60-$70 , maybe more.

Hey I got a predator 212 engine with a butterfly valve stuck all the way at open, I tried a pen spring but it barely works, any suggestions?
Loved this video. Thanks for the great information. I am looking to get a used cart as yourself and add and updated motor to it. I would like to know what questions I should ask to make sure the older frame would accept the newer motor? I realize there may need to be some adjustments but as minimum as possible. Thanks

I'm in the UK always watch your vids man your amazing guess what I'm doing in quarantine rebuilding my pit bike stripped it down to frame and rebuilding it back up with fresh parts love u keep grinding

I had this exact brand and body type of gokart, I took the roll cage off mine, this body type doesn't require the cage for structural support, mine had that same stock motor to and I swapped it with the predator 212, I also took a 68 vw beetle seat and cut its lower mounts off and back rest off and put it on as a seat, the springs of the seat made the ride so smooth you couldn't feel anything, also I had bicycle tubes cut up and placed between the engine block and mounting plate to serve as vibration dampers, I had it super smooth and super clean, I had to sell it tho sadly and it miss it, seeing this video makes me happy to see someone else with one 😊 also the tires on it have tubes in them so keep in mind if your thinking of changing them, when I tried to change mine I didn't know and i almost damaged my tubes 😅😊

The Dale cart should be a metric size chain since you got the engine off of a Honda, so you might want to make sure you're not dealing with a metric chain size if you think they look similar... that is before you get the wrong size. Farm Stores, Hardware stores, Motorcycle shops best bets in finding a new chain.
