Bryan, congratulations on your first Eide's experience. I plug that store on here every chance I get. I can't stress enough how much that place influenced my tastes in comics. And Mister X is a wonderful, underappreciated book that was way ahead of its time - I've still never seen anything else quite like it. It's worth checking out - the early books fearured covers by Dave McKean, Chaykin, and Kaluta if I remember correctly. Dean Motter wrote most of it, and later illustrated some. Ty Templeton was involved also. Really really neat stuff.
Monty Sheldon went to my high school. First met him sophomore or junior year. Kubert school grad. Was a production artist for Dark Horse in the early days.
Bryan with the Four floppies. After I had finished collecting the original Avengers series, I considered collecting the FF. Wish I had - especially those first 100 issues. Essentials are essential, but you're both correct - having the originals in hand with the colored covers, ads, the musty odor and no slabbing. Ed with the war and Kona comics - I would have swooped those up as well. Great stuff. Thanks Bryan and Ed.
The phrase “Dog Shit 90’s artists” killed me 🤣
21:19 GODZILLA!!!
That trade is bonkers!
Love these kind of videos, i just recently went back like 4 years and watched one of your videos of a longbox haul.
great to be clued into PEDI ! ..tough to search. wonder where they got to.
Random I know, but I grow carnivorous plants so the Kona book having an inside page with info about them at 16:05, both surprised and pleased me.

So good to see Russ Heath’s Sgt Rock in there.
