Dimash is always unbelievably amazing. “Stranger” was composed by Russian songwriter Igor Krutoy (who’s also the pianist), and the lyrics were written by American poetess Sharon Vaughn. The main arrangement was by Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan). Dimash used an Arabic maqam for his ad lib in the middle of the song. It's a system of oriental scales, melodic phrases and ornamentation techniques. And it fit perfectly with the mood of the song. Igor Krutoy said, “It was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way.” The solo instrument heard at the beginning is called a kobyz which is an ancient Kazakh instrument. The idea to add the kobyz to this song came to Dimash after he first heard the tune of “Stranger”. The singer realised that the folk instrument would fit perfectly into the song, giving it an exquisite sound. Dimash has always been anxious to popularise traditional Kazakh music. So, he really wanted the kobyz to be played on a big stage like Sochi’s New Wave Hall Dimash said, “We invited our talented friend Olzhas Qurmanbek to perform the kobyz in “Stranger”, because he is considered the best kobyz player, who managed to fully convey the emotions and character of the song. Thanks to him the song got its outstanding and unique sound. I’ve always dreamed of the kobyz to be heard in my foreign collaborations.”

Yeah I think Dimash's song Ikainaide (forgive my misspelling) makes like 18 languages it's in Japanese he sings songs in English Spanish French Russian Kazakh Ukrainian Chinese Japanese Italian and a couple other languages. He's also a multi instrumentalist playing Piano, Kazakh folk instrument Dombra, guitar, drums, cello, and ukulele,. He's got his Master's degree in music composition and is now in a doctorate program studying for his PHD in Musicology and then he'll be Dr. Dimash lol .

Oh yes I love it so much it's also a song that Dimash composed the music for. Yeah you get to see the Smooth Dimash. Also his acting skills are amazing if you want to check out Phantacity it's like a miniature movie. Dimash can literally do absolutely ANYTHING he wants vocally he literally has no bounds on the capability of that voice of his. Aside from his impressive I think it's something like over 7 octaves at this point but for me even more impressive to me is the emotion this man can emote in EVERY song he performs. He's like a method actor if you don't know what that is it basically means the actor becomes whatever character he or she is and live their actual lives true to that role. They live the character the entire time they're portraying said character and that's what Dimash does in every single song he lives and breaths the song. Also cherry on top Dimash's heart is as big and as beautiful as his voice.

I watch Dimash since 2016 and think he is the most multy talented singer ever. And Ikanaide is a epic Japanese song but i also love the Chinese version of it. "Autumn strong" from the Chinese tvshow "I am a singer 2017" is also outstanding.

Yeah I think Dimash's song Ikainaide (forgive my misspelling) makes like 18 languages it's in Japanese he sings songs in English Spanish French Russian Kazakh Ukrainian Chinese Japanese Italian and a couple other languages. He's also a multi instrumentalist playing Piano, Kazakh folk instrument Dombra, guitar, drums, cello, and ukulele,. He's got his Master's degree in music composition and is now in a doctorate program studying for his PHD in Musicology and then he'll be Dr. Dimash lol .

They are friends and have a father-son relationship.

The Instrument is called "Kobys" and it's basically a Kazak theorbo.
If you want something totally different from Dimash, try his "Be With Me (Official Music Video)" - not the later one. It's like a mini James Bond movie.
Oh yes I love it so much it's also a song that Dimash composed the music for. Yeah you get to see the Smooth Dimash. Also his acting skills are amazing if you want to check out Phantacity it's like a miniature movie. Dimash can literally do absolutely ANYTHING he wants vocally he literally has no bounds on the capability of that voice of his. Aside from his impressive I think it's something like over 7 octaves at this point but for me even more impressive to me is the emotion this man can emote in EVERY song he performs. He's like a method actor if you don't know what that is it basically means the actor becomes whatever character he or she is and live their actual lives true to that role. They live the character the entire time they're portraying said character and that's what Dimash does in every single song he lives and breaths the song. Also cherry on top Dimash's heart is as big and as beautiful as his voice.
Olympico is in Italian and you shall love it. Ikanaide is in Japanees en it brought me to tears.

He is wearing a traditional outfit, and he`s also playing a traditional instrument at the beginning of the song ❣This song is very dear to Dimash, and it`s based on a poem written by a kazakh poet, while he was wrongfully imprisoned, and he was falsely told his wife had left him. Dimash dreamed to perform this song on stage for the world to hear ; His father`s friend composed the instrumental arrangement. When he sang it here in his first solo concert, Bastau, Dimash was so moved that the whole crowd sang along with him , and that he achieved his dream, that at the end he kneeled and he teared up. It was a very emotional performance, and it was so beautifully delivered even if both his ear-pieces had broken at the beginning of the song, and he gave up on them completely :) Nobody forgets this (Bastau 2017) performance of "Daididau" - even if since then people have heard this song in all of his concerts, and they sing it with him :)

This bowl-neck lute played with a bow is is an old Turkic stringed instrument and called Kobys, Qobyz or Kylkobyz in Kazakhstan. The Kyrgyz variant, for example, is called the kyl-kyyak.
The Kobys is the oldest string instrument in the world and, according to a German scientist, it spread beyond the borders of the nomadic area of Central Asia and became the mother (prototype) of all European string instruments.

I watch Dimash since 2016 and think he is the most multy talented singer ever. And Ikanaide is a epic Japanese song but i also love the Chinese version of it. "Autumn strong" from the Chinese tvshow "I am a singer 2017" is also outstanding.
