Dimash is the most accomplished singer I have ever heard. His voice is magnificent and the range unfathomable. He uses his skills to take you on the musical journey of the song in such a way that makes you feel like you are inside the song if that makes sense. Pure and simple he is a musical genius.

With this song, you just wet your fingertips in the ocean under the name Dimash ... React further to it and millions of Dimash fans will simply blow up your channel with hundreds of thousands of views and subscriptions. Dimash sings from classical to rap, he is full of surprises, have a good swim in this vast ocean of pleasures. Do you remember the Diva song from The Fifth Element, a movie with Bruce Willis? In this film, the song of the alien Diva was made half with the voice of an opera singer, and half synthesized on a computer to show an alien voice so that human capabilities could not cover the range and jumps of this song, and so: Dimash sang it calmly, which proves that Dimash is an alien.
When I heard Dimash sing, I thought that he was not human. When I heard what he said in an interview, I realized that Dimash is more of a human than all of us.

Hi Alison 🎉 Nice to see you.
    Thanks for the reaction.
I'm a wandering Lithuanian (now I'm in Norway).
    Stumbled upon Dimash since 2017.
I was watching a Chinese singing show "I am The Singer" and then he appeared there.
You could tell then he will be a biiiig deal in the vocal world.
To me he is a revolutionary vocalist, who succeeded in putting together all schools of music and blending them so that there are no limits.

DIMASH's deep voice is what you get when he does an operatic song; it is so rich and vocally powerful; and takes you to other places like on a cloud of vapor , of course "goosebumps" follow along with it. This is just an "other worldly" performance of the highest level. The more times I watch it the more I see and hear, that seems new to me, like things I missed in previous watchings.

Great reaction! 👍 Stranger is an epic song with touches of medieval, Gregorian and even a march together. I love Dimash’s different voice textures specially the Middle East vibes in those riffs and runs 🎤❤️🔝🎼👏👏 Igor Krutoy said “It was Dimash’s talent that inspired me to write this song, his immense vocal abilities and his desire to sing for a large international audience. Franky, I don’t see anyone else who could perform this piece in such a way” The gentleman playing the Kobyz is master Olzhas Qurmanbeck, the best player in Kazakhstan 🎻🔝 The Kobyz is the first stringed instrument ever. Kobyz is an ancient tool of the Kazakh people. It was used in ancient times by steppe shamans-healers for various rites. Kobyzy is made from a single piece of wood. This is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind. It is not due to technical backwardness or the lack of metal devices. According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. The open body and strings of the kobyz from a bunch of 30-60 untwisted horse hair give a very thick, overtone-rich timbre. 🔝🔝

Alison, thank you very much for your reaction. Indeed, Dimash did a great job in this song. Some people think that he is just showing off his voice here, but this is a superficial and incorrect view. Everything he does is thought out to the smallest detail: the change of voices matches the lyrics and immerses into the world of wanderings. While traveling, a person changes, acquiring new qualities and thinking: deeper, stronger and braver, sometimes nostalgic and reflective. In the middle part, he takes us to the world of different cultures and traditions. If this were a film, we would see a change frames, scenery and images, and Dimash does it with his voice. This song is a lifelong journey.😊🪷

The reason you don't see often people get out of their seats and present him with a standing ovation is that in some eastern countries like Kazakhstan, Russia,Bielorrússia, ukrain is seen as unpolite. Greetings from Tyumen, Alison!
Your reaction is a miracle! And the words "there should be riders in the background" just amazed me! Since childhood, I have been interested in fantastic literature - other worlds, parallel universes, universes into the bodies of other people, magic and magical magic... And the song "Stranger" made me associate with some kind of novel about wizards. Here is a group of magicians conducting some kind of ritual, but something went wrong with their plans, and a person from another world moved into the body of the subject, and it is also obvious that he moved in this way many times. And now he is back in an unfamiliar world, which he needs to get used to and try once again to understand who he really is. After all, fragments of memories from past lives are stored in memory, where he had both friends and loved ones.

You’re right though! No one could possibly cover his stuff, I mean I would be truly dumbfounded if I saw someone cover his music and do it justice 😅

A lot of Irish on my mums side! (Of course there’s English and Scottish in there too what with some of my ancestors being convicts 😅) but my Irish heritage I hold so dear to my heart. My god how badly I want to go over and just stand on the same soil as my blood once did haha!

Wonderful reaction Alison!! You mentioned what a good actor he is so you have to watch "The Story of One Sky". It took him 3 years to write the script and the music, It is 14 minutes long so it is a short film and he is the lead actor. It is a very heavy and emotional story about war which he is passionately against!! Hopefully that will be next. ❤

This was not from or written for a movie. This was composed and written specifically for Dimash to premier at this very performance. This was the first public performance ever of this song.

Have you ever heard of Diana Ankudinova? She's a young woman with a very tragic childhood that literally leaarned to sing before she could speak. She's also a polyphonic (she can sound like several people singing at once) dramatic contralto (the absolute deepest voice a female can have) This combination makes her ONE of a kind! Try her cover of "Can't help falling in love" and you'll understand
    Greetings from a swedish metalhead!

This song was written for Dimash by Igor Krutoi. So there is no other recordings and it isn't a cover. The song was designed to use his full octave range so not many people out there that can pull it off. The instrument is a Kobyz (pronounced Co bees) it has 2 strings.

It was written specifically because he could do it . Igor wrote it for his voice. Composers love him . th-cam.com/video/9efIWFhD8a4/w-d-xo.html is his entry for movie songs. written for him by the director of the movie

You might like to watch Dimash and Placido Domingo at the performing the 'Pearl Fisher' and then in the same venue, listen to Dimash sing the Kazakh national anthem. By the way, have you listened to Dimash sing 'Unforgettable Day' (at GAKKU). He wrote the song at age 19 and in the GAKKU performance hits an incredible high note of D8. Or maybe you still haven't heard him sing 'Across Endless Dimensions' official music video.
Oh yes, this comes from San Antonio, Texas.

You must know the context in which Dimash thanks the audience before this song. Dimash had just performed the song Your Love, a difficult song with notes between F2 and F6 (so on 4 octaves) between which we have vocal fry, belting and a sequence worthy of a coloratura soprano. After thanking, he announces that he will sing in Premiere the song Stranger composed by Igor Krutoy, lyrics by Sharon Vaughn (USA). It should be noted that at Dimash's suggestion, the sequences sung at Kobiz by his friend, whom he thanks at the end, were included immediately after the thanks addressed to Igor Krutoy. The reaction of the audience should not be surprising, because in all the states of former communist Eastern Europe the cultural-artistic education specific to the 19th and early 20th centuries was practiced. The audience is educated to respect the artists by listening to them in complete silence, without interruptions by sounds, standing or applause, these are allowed only at the end, and admiration is expressed by flowers brought to the artist, and not just any flowers but expensive flowers in an elevated presentation! You may remember Dimash's grimace during the interpretation of the song Love Is Like A Dream at the break between the soprano sequence with "Ave Maria" and the final part of belting the audience applauds, and Dimash has an involuntary grimace, caused reflexively by the education that he also had get it! This type of behavior applied to opera, operetta, theater, symphonic concerts or even light music (pop, rock, etc.) and was a sign that the audience was made up of highly educated people. Moreover, the price of the tickets made it impossible for others to participate! This is being told by an almost 71-year-old citizen from Romania, a former communist country until 1989, who was thus educated and who came to know a lot about art and culture, even if the intellectual formation was realist and not humanist, me having a master's in math and computer science!
