@@canolli2944 He's too good for the Grammies. They've lost all respect in the last few decades. Dimash has his American fan clubs as well. But the west has some growing up to do. The people will come. But, we don't want Dimash to have to lower himself to the commercial realm ...rather the west rise to him. He has shown a willingness to provide some more commercially viable works...and it's been good. But he can't stay there and be MJ or some heavy metal icon ala Robert Plant or Dickerson. But he can give us some and the people will able to appreciate too a beautiful melody or serious piece. All music can affect us and makes us grow. Quality matters. Connection and our common humanity. I love the theme and presentation of this performance. Igor Krutoy and Dimash have great chemistry. Both understand music innately well. Two talents producing masterpieces. We are blessed.

The Grammies in the U.S is a world famous awards show recognizing artists for their talents . I don’t know where you are from but the facts are this….if you become famous HERE, you are famous all over the globe. I’m sure many countries have their own awesome talented people that are just exclusive to their country. Rest of the world they are unknown. Ask anyone in the world who Elvis Presley is, they’ll know. Ask them who Lady Gaga is they’ll know. Even when I know Dimash's vocals for a number of years now, he still takes my breath away and in his concerts I stand in awe, completely stunned and can't believe what I witness. This young man is really one of a kind! The emotional rollercoaster is unbelievable . A concert of Dimash is a treat, a precious treasure. I got addicted!
You're right. The sound IS ancient, mesmerising, spiritual. That is the Kazakh Kobyz, a very ancient 2 stringed ancestor of our stringed instruments so familiar to us today. EVERYONE who hears It sits up straight and exclaims; What is THAT!? I LIKE that!" The sound seems to speak directly to the soul and resonate right through to the very bone marrow! And perhaps it does... The Kobyz is typically carved from a single piece of timber, strung with horsehair, the sound chamber lined with goat skin. Traditionally this instrument was reserved for the sole use of Shamans / Medicine men, as it's sound was deemed to have the power to drive out evil spirits and heal the sick.

His voice range is huge! I think it has 5 or 6 octaves.The way he goes from one to another is amazing!! And in live concert, usually the singers don't do the high notes, but his voice is really something out of this world.

I actually had to take it a step further as they rejected my first dispute. It is still not cleared but I did add it in a playlist and set it to unlisted in order to see if they would actually review the video which they are legally required to do in order to reject my claim. 4 more days for them to either reject or release officially. pausing and talking throughout the song is annoying and not at all required except for copyright issues. To react you must first listen. Hearing a song in it's full context is the only way to do it properly. But for some people...they want some kind of dissection of the song or singer. Why? It's a song. Dissection of it isn't necessary. Just say...gee, I really enjoyed that. Or...I liked the song, but not their voice. This analyzing very note is annoying and boring. If you are going to analyze...say that ahead of time. But most people are not talented enough to be more entertaining than the performer of the song. Most people are common everyday people with silly personalities and trying to be some comedy show. It's stupid. Very few can achieve that. Intelligent reaction and comment after being focused and listening is best.

There is no doubt Dimash's voice is one that shows immense training as much as natural tallen. It is incredible with our global community we can all enjoy such tallen. It an old video and song but I think you will like Chris de Burgh Don't Pay the Fairiman just for the sense of adventure and storytelling he takes you on. Border Line is a good second choice for you but the story may be too sad. Don't want to make you cry. Patricia the Stripper will make you laugh but well less I say about it the more you will enjoy it.

He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that. The kobyz is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and it’s spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship. Please react to another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for him at Dimash's request, Ave Maria. He performed this song on the same show as Stranger. If you know any of the many versions of this song, this is not the same. But definitely a must if you want to hear an angel sing. I believe the Qobyz isn’t just ancient, but the 1st original stringed instrument inspiring the rest. If you want to see other performances of his with Qobyz, you’ll love his *music video for Qairan Elim-* he codirected it (his 1st time), made it during the lockdown pandemic days, inspired in part by losing a couple important mentors. It’s a beautiful video & song, & the Qobyz plays an important part. Also you’ll love *Samaltau- I recommend the Tokyo Jazz Festival version-* also during quarantine & Dimash with 2 musicians performs from his modest home studio. This one you really get to experience what magic the Qobyz can be.

if i have the strenghts to begin again.... reincarnation ? or wordly - refuse and start over? stranger is my alltime favorite since first heard it (2 years ago) - i went to the olympus in greece with a pickup truck and a tent cus of it ... and i loved the whole journey- met awesome ppl and a country with magic at every corner ... thanks Dimash - for example- i stopped after getting off the fary from Bari ( italy ) to Igoumenitsa ( greece) - and the climate has changed so much - i went first to meteora highs - as i always wanted to see how the ppl ( monchs and nonns) are living there - they instantly gave me a meal that would last everyone for two days^^ - and invited me to stay as i came ( unknown ) at the perfect time to help with tradition - we went by foot ( and they only do that onces a year ) - cus they do not drive - down into the village- at the side of the main road where all sort of stuff... like sugar, salt, dryed meats, flower, - basically everything they cannot produce themselfes up there - and we all took a load and shuffed it back up the mountains - so now... there is no road - its all caved in steps going arround these stalagmines shaped mountains with only ropes to make u not fall 300 meters) ... result : i was invited to spend the night there - and i swear : i never in my life was that drunk ...^^^^ amazing ppls with hearts i never have imagened that size in anything - worldopen, keeping traditions full on and allowing to have a climb of it - i was in a different world ... but that was just the start of my jouney... i met even more amazing ppl down south on the iland of patra - i will never forget - and this song to me is exactly that - total unexpected ,unknown exiting meetings - when u feel like part of something but cannot explain ... when u feel like u heve been somewhere - but u dont ... thats the song for me .... im not religious in any way , but i since then know , there is something

You should never apologize for appreciating Dimash’s music! This song does speak to me as well. Igor Krutoy was the composer and was playing on the piano. Hi, I really enjoyed your reaction. The stringed instrument is very ancient, it is called a kobyz. I've read that it may be the forerunner of all stringed instruments. The gentleman playing the piano is Maestro Igor Krutoy who also wrote this piece and several others for Dimash. The tour which Dimash is currently doing is called the The Stranger Tour, hopefully he will be doing some performances in the US in the not too distant future.

@@canolli2944 He's too good for the Grammies. They've lost all respect in the last few decades. Dimash has his American fan clubs as well. But the west has some growing up to do. The people will come. But, we don't want Dimash to have to lower himself to the commercial realm ...rather the west rise to him. He has shown a willingness to provide some more commercially viable works...and it's been good. But he can't stay there and be MJ or some heavy metal icon ala Robert Plant or Dickerson. But he can give us some and the people will able to appreciate too a beautiful melody or serious piece. All music can affect us and makes us grow. Quality matters. Connection and our common humanity.
I love the theme and presentation of this performance. Igor Krutoy and Dimash have great chemistry. Both understand music innately well. Two talents producing masterpieces. We are blessed.

Even when I know Dimash's vocals for a number of years now, he still takes my breath away and in his concerts I stand in awe, completely stunned and can't believe what I witness. This young man is really one of a kind! The emotional rollercoaster is unbelievable . A concert of Dimash is a treat, a precious treasure. I got addicted!

You're right. The sound IS ancient, mesmerising, spiritual. That is the Kazakh Kobyz, a very ancient 2 stringed ancestor of our stringed instruments so familiar to us today. EVERYONE who hears It sits up straight and exclaims; What is THAT!? I LIKE that!" The sound seems to speak directly to the soul and resonate right through to the very bone marrow! And perhaps it does...
The Kobyz is typically carved from a single piece of timber, strung with horsehair, the sound chamber lined with goat skin. Traditionally this instrument was reserved for the sole use of Shamans / Medicine men, as it's sound was deemed to have the power to drive out evil spirits and heal the sick.
No Dear will ever mind you pausing to contemplate and give your thoughts to us. We exactly want that. We know this song like the back of our hands, so we do not need to hear it in its entirety unless we choose to do so. In which case, we would watch the song and not a reactor to the song. And this song is very.... a lot! Let's just say that. It's actually more than a lot. It's everything, and it's wonderful. pausing and talking throughout the song is annoying and not at all required except for copyright issues. To react you must first listen. Hearing a song in it's full context is the only way to do it properly. But for some people...they want some kind of dissection of the song or singer. Why? It's a song. Dissection of it isn't necessary. Just say...gee, I really enjoyed that. Or...I liked the song, but not their voice. This analyzing very note is annoying and boring. If you are going to analyze...say that ahead of time. But most people are not talented enough to be more entertaining than the performer of the song. I did go through a very heavy copyright process with this one… further than I would usually go. Still not fully resolved so we’ll see if it works out.
He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Kobysz for that.
The kobyz is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and it’s spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the kobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter.
He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable.
Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian-Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter. He came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash when he first heard him. True masterpieces were created. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range (no kidding), like Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You'll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him. The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It's more of a father-son relationship.
Please react to another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for him at Dimash's request, Ave Maria. He performed this song on the same show as Stranger. If you know any of the many versions of this song, this is not the same. But definitely a must if you want to hear an angel sing.

I believe the Qobyz isn’t just ancient, but the 1st original stringed instrument inspiring the rest. If you want to see other performances of his with Qobyz, you’ll love his *music video for Qairan Elim-* he codirected it (his 1st time), made it during the lockdown pandemic days, inspired in part by losing a couple important mentors. It’s a beautiful video & song, & the Qobyz plays an important part. Also you’ll love *Samaltau- I recommend the Tokyo Jazz Festival version-* also during quarantine & Dimash with 2 musicians performs from his modest home studio. This one you really get to experience what magic the Qobyz can be.

if i have the strenghts to begin again.... reincarnation ? or wordly - refuse and start over? stranger is my alltime favorite since first heard it (2 years ago) - i went to the olympus in greece with a pickup truck and a tent cus of it ... and i loved the whole journey- met awesome ppl and a country with magic at every corner ... thanks Dimash - for example- i stopped after getting off the fary from Bari ( italy ) to Igoumenitsa ( greece) - and the climate has changed so much - i went first to meteora highs - as i always wanted to see how the ppl ( monchs and nonns) are living there - they instantly gave me a meal that would last everyone for two days^^ - and invited me to stay as i came ( unknown ) at the perfect time to help with tradition - we went by foot ( and they only do that onces a year ) - cus they do not drive - down into the village- at the side of the main road where all sort of stuff... like sugar, salt, dryed meats, flower, - basically everything they cannot produce themselfes up there - and we all took a load and shuffed it back up the mountains - so now... there is no road - its all caved in steps going arround these stalagmines shaped mountains with only ropes to make u not fall 300 meters) ... result : i was invited to spend the night there - and i swear : i never in my life was that drunk ...^^^^ amazing ppls with hearts i never have imagened that size in anything - worldopen, keeping traditions full on and allowing to have a climb of it - i was in a different world ... but that was just the start of my jouney... i met even more amazing ppl down south on the iland of patra - i will never forget - and this song to me is exactly that - total unexpected ,unknown exiting meetings - when u feel like part of something but cannot explain ... when u feel like u heve been somewhere - but u dont ... thats the song for me .... im not religious in any way , but i since then know , there is something

You should never apologize for appreciating Dimash’s music! This song does speak to me as well. Igor Krutoy was the composer and was playing on the piano. Igor and Dimash have collaborated several times and Igor had come out of retirement to work with Dimash. Always magical to listen to this. Cheers from Canada!

Es una vibra y energía diferente que no puedes entender, solo puedes sentir. Inevitablemente, un escalofrío empieza a recorrer los poros de tu piel y no puedes contener las lágrimas, que brotan de forma natural y, he aquí, empiezas a sentir tu cuerpo flotando, casi levitando, yendo a otra dimensión, en un estado de éxtasis. . Debemos estar felices que pertenecemos a un grupo muy selecto de personas que esta en la misma sintonía . Porque me he dado cuenta que no va en gustos musicales, en conocimiento ni en edades ni culturas ni nada de eso, va en algo más allá .Dimash nos eligió, nos dio una parte de su alma y su corazón a cada uno , pero para recibir ese regalo tenemos una condición y esa condición es dejarlo conectarse con nuestro ser a través de su música y como hay tantas personas en el mundo y su alma y corazón no podían ser para todos, eligió solo a algunos ,los más dispuestos a dejarse emocionar y atrapar por su voz. Por eso no debemos prestar atención a los que lo critican o no lo saben entender porque ellos no fueron elegidos, no les tocó su trozo de alma y corazón , se quedaron afuera , no dejaron que su luz los tocara , se quedaron en la oscuridad, una pena por ellos porque nunca sabrán el disfrute y el placer que su arte nos proporciona.
Me lleva a pensar en la voz de Dimash y el elemento terapéutico que supuestamente tiene en muchas personas. A menudo he comentado sobre la capacidad de Dimash para transmitir emociones profundas a través de su voz (incluso cuando existen barreras del idioma, Dimash parece capaz de transmitir el sentimiento vocalmente). Por los videos que he visto y los artículos que he leído, Dimash es un ser humano muy enfocado (¡obviamente talentoso!), que tiene un profundo sentido de conexión con las cosas simples de la vida: familia, fe, belleza, niños, amistades y respeto. (No digo que estas sean las únicas cosas que valora, pero parecen ser recurrentes). Dimash suele ser introspectivo, pero parece realmente una persona feliz, a pesar de algunas pérdidas bastante devastadoras en el camino. Su perspectiva me ha hecho preguntarme si es el sentido innato de conectividad de Dimash lo que le permite mantenerse positivo y también le permite ser un narrador vocal/musical tan poderoso. Un poco de alimento interesante para el pensamiento…

Hi, I really enjoyed your reaction. The stringed instrument is very ancient, it is called a kobyz. I've read that it may be the forerunner of all stringed instruments. The gentleman playing the piano is Maestro Igor Krutoy who also wrote this piece and several others for Dimash. The tour which Dimash is currently doing is called the The Stranger Tour, hopefully he will be doing some performances in the US in the not too distant future.
