I went to thailand this year and did a cooking school cause i love thai food and when i cook it at home the smell of fish sauce suger and lime brings me back there... love your recipes
I used to buy it at my local Thai restaurant its delicious..I'm going to do it my self.. thank you so much .. I couldn't find it in my new neighborhood.. can't wait to made it ..
I knew this wasn't a new discovery. I've been putting beef stew on top of my salad for a weeks now and Its one of my favorite dishes. I like it on top of spinach and arugula with crunchy red onions, shredded cheese, kimchi and a side of white rice. 🍚
I hv watched the video a couple of times thinking it is tedious. But not at all when I tried it today😅 and bookmarking it for Ramadan in April, so easy-peasy!
Marion, I honestly love your videos. Thank you for presenting dishes in such a simple way. I feel like I can now try and make things that I always thought were super complex!
Love this dish! Added my own little twist to it and still came out awesome. I am always afraid that the fish sauce will be too salty or overpowering on the meat but it turned out really good!! Thank you.
Just made this virtually identical to the video but also threw in some cooked tiger prawns just before serving. Was very tasty and refreshing, although I went overboard on the chilli…. 😁
My first time to watch one of your videos. That looks so GOOD and I can't wait to try it. I have a question for you. Do you know how to do cold meat.? I had a Thai neighbor and I ABSOLUTELY loved going over to their house to eat. She used to cook the meat with lemon juice - no cooking - just lemon or lime juice. Do you know how this is done - it was one of my favorites.???
I’m so glad I stumbled to your channel :) I made beef salad last night and it was Devine. It even tastes better after a night storing in the fridge. Thanks for sharing:)))
You forgot to put the coriander in the recipe on the website, I'm making this tonight and I was sure there was coriander in it and in the video is where I remember it from!!
Having wanted to make this for a long time, I finally did and other than me overspicing it with the hottest chili ever, this was absolutely delicious! I used a cheap and lean cut of beef that‘s usually not used for steak and marinated it for two days in oil, garlic, kiwi (key tenderizing ingredient) and soy sauce. I took it out of the marinade and then marinated it again as instructed here. The beef was tender and the salad absolutely amazing! Never used palm sugar before and can truly see that it’s got its own special place in the kitchen with mint and fish sauce! Highly recommend making this!
I have a rib eye left over and really wanted to make this, but going away for the holidays in 2 days and won’t be able to finish all the herbs, if I got them now. So sad :( sounds deliscious, though.
I love the video, and I will definitely make this recipe, as I love Thai food and any kind of steak salad, but the club music playing in the background is a little too frenetic and distracting.
I’m not a salad 🥗 person but thanks to Marion’s salad varieties now I can happily finish a bowl full of salad without being bored... but I still hate regular boring American salad they are tasteless salad 🤮

Amazing. I also add, fried crunchy garlic, peanuts, red onion, green grapes halved. It will take it up a level xx

Ok... I have nearly saved ALL of your recipes in my Food Recipe Playlist! 😆
Just made this for dinner. Insanely delicious.
Thanks for your super delicious dish tutorial
Love your recipes, but hate the background music. Too loud and too distracting.
turn the sound of put on closed captions thats what i do most cooking channal they talk to much
Agreed
I love this recipe.
Time to get rid of the person who selected and advised you to use that music. You don't need music. It does nothing but detract.

Looks so yummy I'm gonna try this
Looks so yummy can I add any noodle to it? If so what ones do you recomend? Also if you dont mind me asking how do yo give the noodles flavour?
Tammie Wells I use vermicelli noodles! Just make some extra dressing and toss the noodles in some dressing and sesame oil :)
The music is not need but I’m definitely going to make this. Subscribed.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who noticed the odd music. The recipe seems great and will stand on its own
this recipe is outstanding, 2nd time making it tonight and using pork fillet instead :P
This is one of my all time favourite
Is there a recipe for thai curry 🍛 with thinly sliced beef with vegetables ?
You forgot to put the coriander in the recipe on the website, I'm making this tonight and I was sure there was coriander in it and in the video is where I remember it from!!
Thanks Marion. 😁👍
Amazing
If I don’t have fish sauce, what sauce can I use as a substitute?
Having wanted to make this for a long time, I finally did and other than me overspicing it with the hottest chili ever, this was absolutely delicious! Will try this at home
Very good
The recipes are good, but can you try adding subtle background music like in Juns Kitchen maybe?
What is that backing track? Thai lime salad with full moon Goa seasoning?!?! bwaaahahahaha
I have a rib eye left over and really wanted to make this, but going away for the holidays in 2 days and won’t be able to finish all the herbs, if I got them now. So sad :( sounds deliscious, though.
Mmmmm, will make it!
What’s in the marinade?
Yummy
Is that angus ribeye MB3?
I LOVE BEEF SALAD 😊

2:20 that's why ur mum wouldn't put sugar marinade on a scotch fillet steak. Burnt
Where's the roasted rice? That's what really makes it unique and delicious, This might as well be Mexican food.

My favorite too
Can I i use oyster blade steak in this please.
Can i substitute palm sugar with brown sugar?
I believe shaved is the expression! lol
Adding some vermicelli noodles and more of the steak gravy really turns it into a filling dish.
