    This video was a lifesaver. My kid threw up in the back seat and a LOT went into the seat belt buckle hole. Had to take everything out to clean it all up. This was by far the best video I found! Thank you!

    Excellent video. Made the process of removing the rear seat much easier than it would have been without the video. Thanks

    Nice video. I hope I never need the fuel pump replaced. Don’t want a mechanic taking apart the interior of my car. After this video I might be able to do it myself though. Thanks for this vid.

      fly n fury yes it’s super easy. I post video so people do it themself and no go to mechanic shops and get ripped off. If they can do it you can do it. Unless if it’s something so hard. Like replacing an engine or something like that lol.

    Please note, you do not need to remove the rear seats to remove the bottom seat. Just drop them down and you should be able to see the 10mm screw holding the rear seat. At least I was able to on my 11th accord. You will have to undo the clips to lift the carpeting.

    Thanks for the video. Do you know if need to remove the rear seats in order to remove the rear deck (where rear speakers are). My rear deck rattles when I drive over bumps or play music loud. Was wondering what the best steps are to removing the rear deck.

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes sadly you have to :( you have to remove the sides too. They are little hard to take off cuz there is not too much space. If you are under warranty take it to the dealership

    I have a 2024 accord and couldn’t get the side panels off even after lifting and pulling the sh out of it. I gave up didn’t wanna break it. Was is really that easy or maybe different in a 2024? Any thoughts?

  • @oi32df

    Those center seat brackets welded to the frame are a really bad protrusion . It 's time to get out the reciprocating saw and hack all that metal that prevents you from making a hatchback. I mean enlarge the opening between the strut. Put the top of the rear window on hinges and build a frame securing the trunk door and the rear window together ...so tempting to do on a ( almost ) brand new car. I don't even mention making a gutter that completely surrounds the new opening and reinforces it . So easy...

    Why would you want to decrease visibility out the back? Im trying to figure out the purpose of those rear quarter glass blinders? Thanks!

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have blind spot system. And those small windows don’t help as you think. Older cars for sure. My 2001 maxima that back window was big and I was able to seee cars next to me

    I lost my necklace underneat the rear driver seat cushion (went through the seat belt thing). Do I have to remove both seats or just the one? Is there anyay to lift up the bottom without removing the entire seat.

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      LisaH yes try to undo the latches or small things under the seats and see if you can squeeze your hand under the seat. Try it tmrw and let me know how it goes. But I think you can remove the bottom part without removing the top.

    • @littleraskle

      @@Iegend17 Okay I will try that. Auto shop is charging me $150 for that so may as well give it a go myself. I do have a honda civic tho so not the same car but hopefully similar.

    Do you have a video like this for the front seats?

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Austin Mattus no I don’t the front seats are soooo easy. You could do it without watching a video. Four bolts and couple cables for the airbag.

    • @AJMatulonis
      @AJMatulonis 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No issues with the per adjustable controls or heated seat controls? I’m thinking of switching my sport seats out for full leather. Not a big fan of the cloth in the middle

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Austin Mattus just unplug the cables. Just disconnect the battery before you do that. Are you going to be putting the leather on the seats ?

    • @AJMatulonis
      @AJMatulonis 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Legend17 if there is an easy way to just replace the cloth with leather I’d rather do that. If there isn’t a way I would have to replace the whole seat

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Austin Mattus why don’t you do the $1000 dollar option. They will cover your seats with leather. And they will do both front and back

    is it true that removing the rear seats will expose you to carbon dioxide/monoxide air entering the vehicle??

    • @texasblaze1016
      @texasblaze1016 ปีที่แล้ว

      Who ever told you that was straight up lying or playing games with you. The rear seat does not creat a seal to outside air.

  • @kno1self539
    @kno1self539 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ok, so why are you actually taking apart the back seats and panels? What's the project? Because I have reason to believe that it's not for the fuel pump.

    • @Iegend17
      @Iegend17  5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Kno1 Self haha no it’s not the fuel pump. Actually no project. But I might add sound dampening sheets in the future. But I removed them to show others if they wanna replace the speakers, fuel pump, add leather or just seats covers. I said that at the beginning of the video :)
