- I've used both types of dumbbells for years and, in this video, I compare the pros and cons of adjustable dumbbells and regular dumbbells in terms of versatility, durability and price.
My goal is for you to know exactly what type of dumbbell is better for you and your home gym after watching this video.

Awesome. Great to hear!
nice power T in the background. GBO!
Awesome video thank you so much
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed it!
I rather have a traditional dumbbell but having a gym inside a home adjustable is better - like you said space saver. I have both powerblocks and bow flex 552 I prefer the adjustability of bow flex but the size is ridiculous- the handle on the bow flex is starting to get loose and I didn’t trust the Nuobells mechanism to last.
Overall which would you buy again? Powerblock or Bowflex?
@@hortonbarbellgood question I have had the bowflex for about a decade and they’ve been reliable so I’d have to go with bowflex 552 not the 1090 I’ve heard not so good things about them. The powerblocks are a recent acquisition as I wanted the higher weight range. The adder weights are a pain.
Very helpful thank you
Awesome to hear! Thanks!
I prefer a set of Hex dumbbells. Adjustable dumbbells are as ugly as hell and their mechanism can potentially break.
