I know these videos were from a year ago, but with the FLYJSIM Dash 8 just being released for XPlane, this series has been incredibly helpful. Thanks a lot!

The series are just spot on. Very nicely done. Taking into account the lack of fcom and SOP available for the q400. Any chance to do a quick one regarding seto seti ( single engine taxi in out ? According to your operator?

The Q400 has a built in APU but can use ground power as well. We show how to turn the displays on in the first part of this video series!

Very useful video. Quick question. Can you explain what the Propeller Ground Range indicator is for in front of the Captain. I noticed it kept indicating 1 then 2 at various stages on the taxi. Thanks.

It means that the prop pitch is in the normal range for taxi - which also means that it’s turning too slow for the prop governor to be working and therefore power = a change in RPM. Hope that makes sense!

Hi again guys, was just wondering what flight school and type of course did you guys do. I’ve been looking at a few courses and the L3 integrated ATPL looks very good. Can you recommend this or is it too good to be true?

Also, is it better to go for one bulk payment at a big flight school or do it in chunks as smaller flight schools and work my way up to multi engine rating and type rating

Hello! We were both modular students back when we were training - we did our CPL/IRs at different schools but both were popular modular training providers based in the Midlands. Personally I’d always recommend modular as it’s so very much cheaper than the other options and allows you to work part time as you train. It would also leave you in a better position to perhaps get a job flying MEPs rather than going to airlines, as they’re going to be struggling to recover from Corona for a while yet. Way back, it used to be the case that airlines preferred integrated students but that really isn’t true any more and many large modular schools now provide a structured course which isn’t dissimilar to how integrated is laid out. Either way, do some research into all the various training providers, have a chat with them and see what you think. Hope this helps! ~ Kitty

@@jackamo1997 And buy some online flying lessons when the website goes live. Every pound you spend online you'll save yourself hundreds when you come to the actual flight training
