Hello there Mike.....yes The Damned collection is progressing nicely but their album discography is bigger than I thought and I still need 7 more studio albums. Christ knows how many live albums there are ??? !!! Yes the HMV offers ain't too bad I suppose,I'm thinking of picking up the last two Gary Numan LPs from there 🤔🤔🤔 I honestly can't remember how the Beat the Bat tune went so I'll have to stick it on again. I'll probably put it on for you all at the start of another video. I'll try and get on the next live stream.....Grandad duties permitting!!!
Hello there,I hope you are ok....always liked The Damned but never owned any of their big hitter albums on vinyl,just a a few 45s. That all changed after myself and my daughter saw them live at the Ally Pally,now I can't get enough of them !!! I love my 45s,wouldn't be without them.....the very first record I ever purchased with money I earnt was a 45 and I'm still the proud owner of that very same record 🙂 I've picked up some bargains from HMV over the years but I can see them going the way of a lot of shops....closing down and going internet mail order.
@@nicksvinylbutty5488 Yes. I was in Birmingham for work last week and popped into the HMV at the Bullring. There were many more staff than customers. I can't imagine how much it costs to lease the location and all the staff and operational costs. I too feel that the inevitable will come sooner rather than later. I was practically the only one in the shop. 😟

Hello there.....The Absolute Game was the Skids album name I couldn't remember 👍 I've since listened to The Tourists LP,I think it's better than their Luminous Basement album,i really enjoyed that one 👍 I've got plenty of spare time today,no grandad duties,so it's either doing more listening catching up,gardening or a spot of fishing 🤔

The King Tubby isn't real heavy dub and I can live with that 👍 Records you've purchased because you've seen them on another channel....sounds like an idea for a video 🤔🤔🤔
I'd have thought by now Gary Numan would've reissued Cars with an electric Elon Musk self drive version. Otherwise a my town in gridlock especially during the school run remix. Really enjoyed being on the livestream on Thursday night if I'm not there i try to catch some of it later. Have a great weekend. Martin.

For some reason it was changed for the American market ??? Perhaps it had something to do with Pearl Harbour ??? It definitely needs some looking in to 🤔🤔🤔 I have said LP with the Kamikaze title by the way.
Had a listen to that Beat the Bat thing, bloody awful. Lol. basically the batman theme with some funky drums and some awful sampling. Spam song made me chuckle. Yeah quite a mixed bag of stuff there Nick. Not much I would buy as such but still fun to see what you got.
That’s a bargain for a dub album from the 70’s or 80’s?! So how has 6 inch pianist cost you an arm and a leg?? You wouldn’t get that for £12 in Manchester I can assure you!!!!
