Great summer tag video Nick. It's a perfect leisurely watch for me on a Monday Awesome your "whack a mole" was a British Motown collection! Had no idea it was a series of albums. Great call about The Christians. The group and album are really under-rated for the reasons you mentioned. I got my copy at a charity shop for £1! Some great box sets you have there. I found the War of the Worlds album at a charity shop for £2. It's really a wonderful listen and I absolutely adore the cover art and gatefold I didn't know it came as a box set. Interesting back story about that Alien soundtrack. Will check out that documentary on 2-tone too. And so unbelievable that find with that Stranglers' white 45 of "Walk on By" at a charity shop. I do believe some of these things are meant to be. Someone was smiling down on you that day. 🙂 I have a lot of catching up to do. I have always admired your no-nonsense approach ....keep it going. Ref the set of Motown albums,I'll show them all in a video one day....volumes 10,11 & 12 are probably the most tricky to find. The Stranglers white vinyl is my greatest charity shop find so far....pure luck really ! I always thought the Alien trivia was common knowledge but obviously not....I love trivia etc... The war of the worlds was a good find also. I know I've added to it but it makes the whole thing just that bit more complete and interesting I suppose. All the best RM 👍 👍👍

Brilliant video Nick, I found myself nodding along and agreeing with everything you said. I’ve started trying to pick up Cramps vinyl, but finding it quite difficult. I’ve got Off The Bone on cd, and love it. Amazing you picked up a vinyl copy with the goggles! That’s excellent about the Stranglers single to go with the album, another great find. I've got a cover version of it but it ain't the same as the real thing is it. These tags are great for reminding you of records you forgot all about. I've been working on the latest vinyl Ritchie thread and have discovered stuff I've had for bloomin years but buggered if I could recall having them !!! Glad you enjoyed Dance Craze it's a belter. It was filmed in a special way that made the watcher think they were there with the audience. All the best mate 👍👍👍
Great tag video Nick. I think i would struggle with some of these as i;m pretty sure I don't have any albums with summer in the title. Maybe a compilation CD. Also the first record I've ever owned has long since been sent to record heaven. Still a good tag all the same and coo to see what you picked.
Nice response Nick. I used to have that Cramps album on cd many moons ago but I couldn't make head nor tail of it. Decided to jettison all my Motown chartbusters LPs a while back apart from Volume 3 which is the real better of the bunch. Still never heard that Heart LP.
@@jamesgriffithsmusic Hello James and thanks for watching and commenting. Vol3 is definitely the best of the bunch and the 60s were definitely the top Motown era. I suppose The Cramps can be a bit of a Marmite kind of band but i've really enjoyed them since the very first time i heard them. The Heart album is a good listen,I was pleasantly surprised by it. It wasn't the sort of dreamy ballad type stuff I assumed it to be. Not seen the old original War of the worlds for many years. My main memory from it was a preacher/priest trying to reason with the aliens etc... and getting blasted . I bet the live show was a great experience.
