CeraVe is so good! It's the only brand I use on my face. I make my own body butter (shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, and almond oil) and it's the only moisturizer I'll use on baby.

I just realized that some of the brands that are the most effective don’t have that “aesthetic” look like the other products that are way more expensive but aren’t more effective for the price. By “aesthetic” I mean, the more expensive products have a more stylistic bottle look, and unfortunately some people overlook the effect for the look.

Yes! Good for you! Feels so good right?!?! Back in July of 2019, I started watching her videos, new and (clearly) old. She taught me how problematic foundations are and I haven't worn a drop since. I have struggled with acne for 20 years and not using foundation or skincare with fragrance has helped so much. Honestly, I think my skin looks better without it! Keep up the diligent work!
Nice! I just turned 47 and have traded foundation for a tinted BB or CC cream, but as I continue to simplify and perfect my skincare routine thanks to Dr. Dray and Dr. Shereene Idriss (also a derm here on TH-cam) I am looking forward to just using a sunscreen on my face in the future. I have dry and sensitive skin and I have learned sooo much from these dermatologists! Now I no longer fall for pretty packaging, colours or scents and have learned to focus on ingredients instead and my skin is better now than it was in my 20s or 30s!

It's funny that you say that about hypoallergenic marketing. Marketing in general is really beginning to irritate me. I went to pick up a Loreal toner yesterday to try out upon someone's suggestion, and on the front of the bottle it clearly says, "Alcohol Free" but when you check out the ingredient list, Alcohol Denat. is the 3rd or 4th ingredient. 🤔🙄 Great video as usual! 💗

If you were to come up with your own line of moisturizers I would totally buy them. By the way Dr. Dray, i don't know if you already have a video on this, but could you please briefly talk about alcohol in moisturizers, i believe there are different types of alcohol and some are not as bad as other, if you could please shed some light as to witch types of alcohol are okay to have on the list of ingredients.

@@DrDrayzday Did you make a video explaining why alcohol is ok in a moisturizer,but not in a toner? That is confusing. I watched one of your videos where you suggest not to bother with toners,because most have alcohol in them. You have stated that serums are over priced and most have no benefits that you have found. Am I correct at what you have said or did I misheard or misunderstand you in previous videos?
This video made me feel a bit more confident in my skincare purchases, I feel very naive when it comes to skincare but watching this video I learned that I already use quite a few of these products
I did what you said ! I tried the cerave psoriasis cleanser on my face, and I gotta say, you were right ! It is super gentle, doesn’t irritate or dry my skin and hasn’t caused any breakout. Happy to be your guinea pig :)

Great video! I’ve been using retin-a .05% for 11 months and just got a prescription for .1% to start next month. My derm told me to start using a skin care system such as Obagi or ZO. It’s extremely expensive. I’ve been using Neutrogena for years and I Don’t know if the systems are able to deliver something better than that. Short of having a laser treatment or a facelift I don’t know if A cream is going to fix fine lines and wrinkles to the tune of $250 a month or more. I can’t justify it. Do you have any suggestions?I’m pretty skeptical I think they’re just trying to sell me something. Also, I’m interested in finding a sunscreen for the face that does not burn or staying when I apply in the morning. Any suggestions for that? I’d really appreciate it

And I just love my Eucerin sunscreen I bought Macy a “zit zapper” light tool and it REALLY works for her Tonight I’m rocking Blueberry Sugar candle from B&B Works I bought 4 The throw is awesome and it’s a smell that really calms me, makes me smile kinda thing

Thank you Dr. Dray for sharing new moisturizer as I am in need of a new one. I use the Aveeno eczema therapy on my kids and I have to say that I love it. It is pricey but so worth it. I know you don’t approve of makeup but as someone who suffers from rosacea I do appreciate the fact that I’m able to cover the redness so I can stop people from looking at me as if I been burned. I️ use the cerave cream in the tub for my dry days (because it’s the greatest) and go back and forth between the regular cerave lotion and the aveeno 24hr moisture lotion for general everyday moisture. Honestly cerave is basically my favorite brand ever 👍🏻👍🏻

Never, ever would have thought to try generic acne wash (2%SA) until watching your videos as I have "wise-age skin" but do get clogged pores. But after 3 weeks of spot washing with it, the problem is cleared up! I started using Neutrogena Hydro Boost HA, then N's moisturizer spf 50, and also my fav Physicians Formula Super BB cream light tint (6% TD, 3% ZO so that is basically suncreen isn't it?) as my makeup. Thanks for your wonderful videos and info!

Gold Bond has a fragrance free version of that healing aloe one and I love that one. I have a hard time finding things that are actual fragrance free. The Eczema one they have is a nice one too.

That cetaphil redness reducing night moisturizer is awesome. I love it. They stopped carrying it at my HEB, and only carry the tinted daytime moisturizer with spf. I guess I'll need to head on down to walmart when I run out!

Eucerin lotions cost $23 for the 500 ml at my local drugstore in Canada. :-/
I use the hydro boost fragrance free cleanser as a face wash and I LOVE IT!!

Yes!! I have been using the Cerave psoriasis on my face for acne 3 nights a week and my skin is looking great! It also has urea and niacinamide, but I'm not sure of the %. I have noticed a definite evening of my skin tone, which I attribute to those ingredients. It is very thick and creamy.

I have eczema on my certain parts of back ... my skin is so sensitive to the point were I can't use a regular laundry detergent or else I will break out in rashes .. .. body wash, soAp, lotion , as well as skin care.. I love the part when you told abt the acne body wash .. I have hormonal acne ...I only break out when I'm on my period .. and it's never on the face .. its always my back
