I think cars that have a brown or red rating in even one body part should be penalised for it. Yes the MG did well overall but it has a brown (second lowest) for torso in side pole test, and that should be enough to lower to 4 stars. Read the expanded test info on the site to see. I won't buy anything that is below yellow for any part of body in front, or below orange for any part in side. Just my personal opinion of course.
Yea your right but for the cost of this vehicle the safety rating is still extremely good it costs same around what a brand new corolla costs and the build quality and safety features of a corolla is far less than mg only 2 airbags in international variant and i think 6 in American varaint sure its most likely is going to be more reliable than the mg hs but safety and comfort wise mg still leads the basic varaint of mg still hass 6 airbags

In the offset test you can see the exhaust under the car, until then I was also not sure if it's the EV or the gas version.
