Today started at 4am because my cat decided that he wanted breakfast. I was guilty of stirring in my sleep. He decided that must mean I was awake and attacked me. Ouch!!!
I have to admit I'm lazy and I don't go to do morning turnout until after the school run 🙈 you have such a busy morning! Very lucky ponies to be looked after so well. X
I can't remember if I left a comment😂 Anyway loved this vlog...so interesting seeing Yr routine! Gives me inspiration to get stuff done! Need to sort out my feed area. Want to get a proper feed bin ( hate opening lots of lids!)

Especially in the winter. Cold and dark. Then you do late night checks.??? Karen you need battery cct camera's. For horses. To put your mind at ease. Hope your sons do the late checks hay in winter for you. So you can have some dinner and an early night. Its ok if you can get enough sleep. And nourish your body with lovely hot healthy food. In the evening...hot bath and relax and sleep.....please look after yourself Karen....❤❤❤❤❤
🙈 i laught because we have those lights in the paddocks, and sometimes it works and sometimes you keep jumping at the same place under it, very close to the shock wire in the dark 😂😂
I’m a morning coffee person HAVE to have my coffee 🤪 in summer I’m usually up by 4am if I’m going to ride or 5 am if not, in winter I don’t get up much before 7am but the horses are always fed by 7 am my mornings are usually done by 11 then it’s time for anything else that needs doing 😂 I have 12 dogs at home including jack Russell’s 😂 so it’s non stop - I cannot drink tea 🤮
haha see i cant stand the smell of coffee 😂 ive never even tried it as i cant get past the smell 😂 oh god your crazy getting up at 4am but then i can see the benifits as i cant stand riding when it gets to hot, 12???? and i thought i was mad having the 4 😂 (lost the cocker spaniel earlier this year) busy lives but then we wouldn't have it any other way xx
Karen you are so dedicated. Work sooo hard. I am exhausted watching your life.❤ Just an idea. My hubby put a solar panel and Led lights in/ outside stable. Xxxx your a brave woman. All this work, is without looking after family home....you can clearly see the love between you and your horses. Doing it all on your own. Can be lonely at times. Do you take a flask of tea to farm? And food. ?karen living off tea and chocy. Is so bad for your health. 🙈 it keeps you going. But not giving yoyr body the nutrition it needs. Please take lots of bananas, easy peelers. Apples. Nuts to snack on. Porridge keeps you going for hours. Slow release energy. The horses fed like kings. Please look after yourself Karen. Eat slow release carbs. Pasta. Baked potato. You look so tired. Darlin. I have been where you are now. And i kept not looking after myself. Then i got a virus and never recovered. My body just stopped working. In bed for a year. Cfs/ ME. Please please look after yourself. I never used to stop. From 6 untill bed. A womans work is never done. Without horses. 🙈 your body is sending you messages. Shingles. Telling you your run down. Please listen to your body. I didn't. Now chronically ill for 10 years....I can see others heading in the same path....🙈🙈. Us women look after everyone else. Put ourselves last....eventually it will take its toll karen....how many years can you carry on at this pace? Way of life? Bloody menopause. We must look after our bones and bodies. You are human. Not a robot darlin....just slow down. Rest more. Eat healthier. You will feel so much better karen....big hug and lots of love. Your one amazing woman, mum, horse mummy. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Sandra, Yes we are now going to get solar lights for the stables, we were checking to see if they worked the way we needed them to before spending out more money on them for the stables. Yes I always have a flask of tea with me at the stables Thank you for looking out for me, yes I do have 3 good meals a day but I do snack a lot in between meals. Yes I have a very hectic life at the moment but I am putting things into place for this to all change come the middle of January, I certainly can’t keep going the way I do for much longer xx

I start my day by getting up at 5.30 am and drive to do my two on DIY at 6.30 am, then on to work and repeat in the evening
