Finding an angler to show you how to fish is hard enough, but finding one that grew up fishing the same places you fish that’s priceless😂

Great video. I've been watching you a cpl weeks and somehow missed that you're from SC. Glad to see a local with this kind of knowledge. I've flipped stck baits and zoom speed worms in SC lakes and they get a lot of bites. Keep up the great videos.

Alternate version -How to fish a laydown:
    1. Position your kayak
    2. Get snagged on first cast to laydown
    3. Get blown into the laydown
    4. Avoid snapping the now flexed rod by loosening drag and Unsnag lure
    5. Snag and snap other rod
    6. #%%%}###%## I need a bass boat

Steve K half the time if I can basically tell it’s hung good I just say F it and break it off instead of going through all that in my yak.

I fished my whole younger life until I got to high school. Just quit and never picked it back up. I have two younger boys and I've started taking them and I'm having a blast!! And it was all because of COVID-19 and videos that guys like you make...Thanks

Awesome video! Great tip about rushing your cast, sometimes you only get one shot at the sweet spot and if you come close and miss it, she won't hit it no matter how many times you bounce it off her head.

I love these videos. I was literally about to order your “3 favorite rods” from Favorite then I seen these were going to be coming to the public so I was glad I waited. I have a request and I hope your able to see this and do a video. But myself and a few other friends are planning on starting local tournaments next year. It would be amazing if you could do a video on everything a working recreational tournament fisher should have in his boat. Say like 6 rod reel set ups. All the videos you been making in one grand finale “so you wanna fish a tournament” video.

Brian I do great flipping a big TRD with a Voss 1/4 oz Twisted weight in the tail on a 5/0 long shank flipping hook. This setup does not need a heavy weight to get it down in the lay down and really produces. In lay downs all you really get is a reaction strike & this slender rig goes right in the strike zone.

old rock quarry with trees along about 40% of the shoreline. This is one of the best lessons on fishing laydowns Iv seen yet. By the way I'm in California with fairly clear water
