    The practice of mindfulness is the holistic process of becoming self aware in the current state of your physical, mental and spiritual existence. Our self mastery stems from the knowledge that our minds are very powerful and that it is constantly shaping our realities and the manner in which we engage in the world as we perceive it. Like the masterful captain of a ship at sea, we must navigate our way through the never-ending waves of our own thoughts and feelings, being able to discern those that have been artificially produced and unconsciously suppressed while accessing the inner compass of our greater selves as a guiding North Star. To be mindful is to also engage with intent in order to deliver meaning to our actions, to become one with our true nature to access the divine force so that we may manifest from true inspiration. Being mindful is to be in the here and now, where no past exists and no future need be concerned, the actively conscious form of surrendering. Carry no judgements, ill-will nor machinations of ever-morphing thoughts, as the practice of mindfulness is to reconnect us with those greater aspects of ourselves where kindness and compassion thrives. Wishing everyone a transformative journey . . . th-cam.com/video/SJYaCuFVVJ0/w-d-xo.html

      the earlier you practice mindfulness, the more years you can benefit from this truly amazing tool. Schools and colleges globally are slowly introducing Mindfulness into the classrooms as the science is proving that it helps in many areas to do with learning, creativity, productivity, memory and also dealing with stress.

    This is buddhism
    And recent studies show it does not help with anger , being calm, substance abuse, or sleep control. Another study has shown that less than 1 out of 10 studys of mindfulness even have a control group. The means that over 90% of the study’s are not even scientific. But yet these are the studies people choose to believe.
    Btw this video was well put together. Thank you

    • @bentleymayes4536
      @bentleymayes4536 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What recent studies are they?

    • @bentleymayes4536
      @bentleymayes4536 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't think studies show buddhism is no good for those things. Just that evidence for mindfulness and it's effectiveness is highly lacking. I would not disagree with this. Most scientific studies seem to speak as if mindfulness will just fix your problems and that's absolutely silly. I've always found that doing it without understanding it is also silly.
      Personally, for me. Mindfulness is to be understand as looking. You train the brain to observe what is happening more clearly and closely (whatever that means). With the clarity it brings, you're in a position to do something about your circumstances but it doesn't do anything in itself unless it was the excessive stress and shit that caused a problem to begin with. I would say observation is pretty close in terms of meaning the same thing. Watch and learn, then act.

    • @mindfuleats4517
      @mindfuleats4517 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting ...I have found that is was transformational with not only anger but with rage.. and my sleep improved and I am 90 per cent calmer. I also manage PTSD sooo much better and I am more creative.

      There was a study of the practicality of Mindfulness as a useful tool against the stress of serious disease (MBSR - mindfulness based stress reduction) . 16 groups of people were chosen. Two of those groups were cancer sufferers (curative and palliative care). The 42 people of the groups (42 only!!!) had to complete an 8-week online course which was designed to help with their stress. Only 55% of respondents said that the course was useful in dealing with the STRESS of having cancer. It did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for their cancer.
      The Mindfulness poster said: Mindfulness can help 55% of cancer sufferers (implying it helps cure the cancer)

    To attempt to define mindfulness is subjective but to actually be involved in it, first- hand, you will forget yourself and your original purpose for doing it in the first place🤔. You'll lose your self,ego and intentions.Time will vanish... poof💨! You will realize that it ultimately is nothing more or less than the abstract smoke-and- mirrors that it obviousely IS!... 😟 You (or what you think of as you) becomes the act of which the "you" is taking part of in at that particular moment. The you that is doing it is not self aware or conscious as we know it to be😒. It's just a living but empty and unaware shell, going through the motions.Behaving like an unconscious robot or common everyday machine🤖. Your fragile little ego--- that ambiguous non- entity that drags you along, through the mud and over sharp rocks never sleeps.It likes to play tricks on you because you think that it's your own thoughts guiding you. In actuality you are the slave and the myopic and willful vapour of an ego is your master👻-- that unreal thing that you willingly gave life to only because you were lazy, complacent and irresponsible (at best!). Then you catch it... it all hits you suddenly😲, you wake up and for a couple seconds you are able to see reality lucidly🤓...A bright beacon of hope, gently prodding you toward that promised future, overflowing with unchained and unbridled potential😳... but you take a deep breath, roll over to swallow your cherished placebos🤤(i mean meds), cover up and go back to sleep😴 in your sea of blissful apathy, to hopefully repeat the cycle the next day!😵‍💫
