Even though I don't plan on getting into your line of work I appreciate getting the techniques, how-tos, and how-not-tos. It's much more interesting than just watching people work and not really understanding what's going on.
    Good video!

I remember watching this video back when it was uploaded. Nice to go back and review the old footage once in a while. Jobs like this make you appreciate the bucket / lift where you can work three trees at once.

Some of the best, most informative, educational comments yet, peppered through the video.

i dont want to rain on the parade here but i would think climbing/rigging ropes near chippers would make your butt pucker...I was watching one of your (think it was yours, i watch so many tree vids) other vids detailing your climbing rope getting dragged (or accidentally loaded with brash) thro the chipper with the potential for devastation that had and i see potential for a similar situation here where you are rigging to a chipper with potential for that man controlled speedline to SOMEHOW get into the chipper (i'm assuming you're just piling it near the chipper with it not running.......could be just a matter of time before somebody tries this 1 step extra with a running chipper copying this or maybe I'm just visualising a scenario that would'nt happen in this industry with professionals?
