I have no doubt that if you pump out at least one video a week you’ll get your followers into 5 digits in no time. Not sure if you do but get two good deep drops reel and one with an electric reel and drop for swords..
Thanks for that support and feedback! I’m doing my best to share helpful content around a passion and started posting weekly on Wednesdays to make it more consistent. I did get my first electric reel recently but it’s just for the kite. Is sword fishing worth the cost to get into? Not sure if pressing a button to reel it in will give me the same thrill as feeling that connection to the fish with conventional tackle but I’ve never done it so hard to say. Need to go out with someone else first, ha ha. Thanks for watching and for the support!
@@g2pangler with deep dropping it is definitely good to go out with someone to kind of learn the ropes just like it is for any kind of technique a fishing for your first time. But as far is it worth it well, I guess that’s kind of subject to opinion lol a lot of people would say that I don’t need to have tons of thousand dollars in fishing gear but I do because I love it lol and I know what you’re saying with pushing a button on a reel but if you are deep dropping in like 1000 feet of water, you don’t wanna have to reel up that lead just to check your weight. Swordfish do taste great along with other deep drop species and it helps the algorithm.👍🏻
@@jakejacobson2999, some of the best tasting fish down there on the bottom too so I hear you! Thanks for all the support and helpful feedback, heard myself telling someone last month to keep the gaff vertical and thought about you, ha ha.
Enjoyed it, especially the explanations.
Thanks for watching Jim!
Nice video 🍾👌
Thank you for watching and for the support Daniel!
A standard gaff is too wide for peanut Dolphin. We use one with a 2 inch gap.
Thanks for the tip @spirit278! I’m bringing big gaffs waiting for my shot at the 80 pound wahoo. ;) Peanuts are getting flipped in.
