The matador blanket rocks. Just used it constantly on a hiking trip to Yosemite and Sequoia. The ground was wet but we never were when we stopped for lunch and snacks. Love to see a selfie stock suggestion.
You uploaded this video while I was spending some weeks at some Spanish beaches & influenced me into buying a Matador blanket. It was surprisingly almost -60% discounted when I came to the checkout (YAY, I love deals). Looking forward to use it.
I could go down that slide all day, but the climb back up the stairs would kill me after a few times. One thing I didn't do though was the wire tube way up in the air outside. I was afraid my fat ass would get stuck. Couldn't do it now though if I wanted because me knees are shot.
I have a pry tool that is TSA compliant that doubles as a carabiner… Ive used it for that once but I’ve used the multitool it self several times as I can’t bring my knife or any larger multi tools
The Gravel liquids bottles are my go to. I have a couple sets. I really like that they maximize space by nesting together. Much better in this sense than go-tubes. It seems so unpredictable whether they will ask you to pull out the liquids pouch. I’ve had a hard time parting from my Sea to Summit clear pouch for 311. But I love the Gravel products in general.
Dopp kit wise I've been enjoying the Bravo Sierra full body bars. They make for a good shampoo and face wash, as well as body soap if needed. They're more expensive than Dr. Bronner's, but I prefer the scent of Sandalwood.
Try out what feels nice to you - decathlon, rei.. I got mine at Globetrotter, but that's european. Just pick one that straps around you - and with long hair I have separate smaller one as well. That should cover trips to the beach, spa days or serve as additional padding for a hard ground 😇
I would look at the kodak step. It’s smaller, the film is smaller (easier to pack), and the film has a sticky side it you are making a scrap book or whatever else you want to do. Otherwise solid list
Bluetooth speaker is not essential, since we all got phones, especially if you are packing light. Also, not everyone wants to hear your music, like strangers.
Agreed it's not essential. Like a toothbrush. But it can be a nice to have. I appreciate decent sound, phone speakers don't produce good listening sound (too each their own). Depends on the trip and what you do / are doing. I've lived on the move for the last 14 years. Mini speakers have been clutch from deployments to hotels to vacation rentals etc. But yeah you're right in obvious cases where it's not a good idea, it's not a good idea. No one calls you to hang out do they?
Cable charges faster (27W vs. 15W) while generating less heat = longer lifespan for your phone. Same capacity powerbank would provide your phone with less charge if wireless. Other reasons would be: you can charge other devices with it and that you don’t bring another cable to charge the power bank.
All brilliant things. But PLEASE don't play music at the beach! Or a shared/public pool. It's so annoying to have to half listen to someone else's music - or worse, two different group's music at the same time. Deeply antisocial and presumptuous unless you're alone there.
Music in public is so overrated. Sometimes noises inside or outside a hotel room need music or white noise to help me sleep. Headphones don’t work well in bed.
I always take a speaker. I listen when I’m getting ready in the morning, and sometimes we need tunes in the VRBO when it’s time for midnight margaritas. There are lots of use cases that don’t involve playing music in public.
Have you actually ever left your house? People blast their TH-cam videos or music all throughout the train, plane, bus, etc. I’m not saying blast a speaker everywhere but use common sense.

Sea to summit bag also doubles as a washing bag for hotel laundry 😊

Let us know what you think! 🤙
I mean if you have the picture on your phone to use the printer, you can just send them with your phone and *Print* them later
the city museum shout out was excellent

I've packed a carabiner for all my trips and have needed them a grand total of 0 times. I'll stop packing them altogether.
You’re gonna need one on your next trip as soon as you don’t pack it 😂

This was perfect for my trip to Aruba but you guys forgot to recommend a good travel Towel! Any recommendations or suggestions?
Matador makes a nice one

Which sling is shown at the end?
@PackerHacker - what are the brands for the orange bag at 7:00 and green phone case at 7:13
Great video Lauren
Thanks for watching! 😃
perfect video for our trip to Banff next month

Kodak’s uses inferior, ephemeral, ZINK prints; Instax is film. I’ve used both. ZINK is hot garbage compared.
@@yifkong Do you mean it doesn’t last as long or doesn’t look as good?
Taking a trip soon. My liquids bag is a circle shape- don’t think those liquid bottles from will work with the non square shape.
whats a 311? and what is tsa? is that an american thing?
3 oz max per bottle and it has to fit into one, 1QT bag 3-1-1.
TSA is USA security
No gusset on the Gravel pouch limits capacity. At least the gusset should accommodate their own bottles.

What’s the big orange backpack at 9:28?
Looks like a Topo Design bag
I dont think I've ever had a phone 'unexpectedly' run out of battery
magsafe powerbank with a cable? Why would I want that?

Thank you - I had the same question and the response clarified it well. I didn’t realize it would charge slower using MagSafe but that makes sense.

Why would you take a speaker and force everyone else to listen to your music? That's very rude. A big reason for getting away is the peace and quiet.
Music in public is so overrated. Sometimes noises inside or outside a hotel room need music or white noise to help me sleep. Headphones don’t work well in bed.

Don’t take it so personally 😂
Agree. Anyone playing music in public is a d!ck move.

Every product is a placement in this video😂 even the script ur reading comes across so robotic and unnatural. Wtf is this?
It's a segment piece. They show different travel products, it's their shtick.
9! ;)
