He reminded about the basic philosophy of the Constitution among which the equal opportunity for education for every citizen of the country is the most important which is not happening today as only affordability has become the criteria . If any govt.which can provide quality education to all citizens and also top health care for all citizens irrespectively of financial status of citizens would have gone a long way in improving the "Human development" index of the country. Finally for attacking inequality in wealth distribution existing in the country is possible only through reducing the"corruption malaise" and black money generation in the economy that's possible through teaching ethical values & moral sciences at the school level...

It was a great interview Vamshi Murali, the questions that you ask cover lot of doubts that current youth have. One more question which you can ask next time if you bring any political intellect, why is that only 6% of people have to pay 15% of total taxes i meant personal income tax. People or family owning handling more than 20 acres are easily earning 1 lakh per acre even after all the costs. I know the argument will come that there are people with less than 5 acres, but that is not true, if a person owns 20 acres, they make 4 acres per each person. Also, people with poultry farms, mulberry farms no one file ITR.
For all of these farmers government exists, but for person whose job is most volatile i meant software or any other private sector why do they have to pay taxes. Either personal income tax to be eliminated or bring atleast more people under taxation. Please ask this question next time.

Excellent podcast and very essential thoughts exchanged, murali sir thinking aligns with another honest and humble JP sir thoughts and concerns. Governance is to provide basic essentials to public : Rule of law with strict enforcement, Free or Affordable education, Affordable if not free Health, very specific welfare schemes for BPL demographics and decent infrastructure like Roads, water , power ,sewage and clean environment. Not just providing job safety and regular increments. Focusing on these Every Government can deliver SDG and surplus budget in long run. As sir mentioned our culture should inculcate ability to Question rather than demand for freebies.

The first question what U've asked is really makes sense...even I was thinking the same..that was the first thing to be implemented in education system to mandate polity and economy during graduation irrespective of their course and during schooling just terminology is enough coz we all just muggedup that heavy stuff and wrote big big essays which we don't even remember abc of it. coz that's not the right age to get all that stuff...
And schools should focus on the abilities of a child and things to bring out their creativity and to develop problem solving skills...and this should b done at any cost otherwise I feel that AI will Wipeout the human race
