It's really cool that this actually ended up different from Kravin's playthrough. He never went back to the computer game and so never got the phonecall, none of the weird business with the corrupted video game ever happened, and the tower never set on fire. His dream 'death' happened in the shack outside and he was killed by a guy in a fireman outfit.
My theory is that there is an actual arsonist serial killer that kills the ranger either by burning the tower or killing him directly, then the ranger ends up in Hell where the PDM killer lurks. The reason I think this is because of the satanic pentagram and the biblical quotes at the end of both this game and PDM. Also, the protagonist from PDM has a car crash before she investigates the abandoned factory, some have theorized that she died and ended up in Hell/purgatory. Interesting fact is that in PDM if you're lucky you can catch a glimpse of a little ghost girl, just like the one described in the text video game...

Jim experiences someone stalking him, and then burns to death, waking up back on the bed - the sacrificial altar? Then, in the game, you help the little girl, and then she leads you into hell, where you glitch out and are trapped forever. Jim offers to come help a camper, not because he wants to, but because the situation gives him no choice. The campers are afraid of something that sounds like a human mimicking an animal. Minotaur? Teddy bear = doll. The weird pool = the lake? the fire = the heat? i don't know. something something jim was dead the whole time after the fire? beats me i don't know what's happening in the puppet combo cinematic universe

was expecting an "escape the house" when you woke up in the cage, would have been terrifying trying to run and hide with your hands tied and no means of defending yourself (not to mention running around in the nude what a nightmare)
This was probably one of my least favorite Puppet Combo games. It has potential, but imo, it takes too long to get anywhere and has too much downtime. It also doesn't really felt like the player is actually in danger of being killed most of the time, even though some moments were pretty good. And I don't mind the more narrative focused games, but I think they've done it better with a better scare factor, like Night Shift.

This was interesting. I liked the fixed-camera angle perspective, and it felt like there's a lot more to this game than we saw here. Based on some of the stuff I'm reading, it sounds like the game isn't quite as linear / on-rails as it appears here. I'd be interested in trying it out myself, but man that dude running at you with the power drill is fucking terrifying.
There ended up being a lot more to this game than I thought! One of the more interesting games from Puppet Combo recently imo. Then again I really dig games set in the woods/towers like this. I wish there were more text based horror games, they’re so good!

i was wondering why the "mimicking pig sounds" seemed so eeriely familiar, and now seeing the slasher from PDM it made a lot more sense. it's kinda cool they went back and used one of their other games to set the universe, albeit only a very tiny portion of it.

i have been watching your videos for like 4 years now and i just wanted to say that your videos have helped me through alot of tough times.
For a puppet combo game I was actually dissapointed in this one. Had way more potential. I was excited for Night Watch when I seen the demo awhile ago but it didn't live up to expectations at all. :(
