However, the first aid spells may not have worked because elves are immune to wizardry, but then he would be immune to the spells on the knife anyway. So, the easiest way to delete an elf is to just skewer them with a sharp stick and hope the elf doesn't cast some spell on you in the process with nothing but his mind? Sure, but if elves are pretty much immune to wizardry, and have magic of their own, then how did they lose to the ineffectual wizards and thus become enslaved to wizards in the first place? It makes no sense.
