Bri does look tired. Pregnancy is harder as women get older. Some don;t show it but it does happen. Maybe 7 babies will be enough. Spend the years and energy on raising them well.

Bri, I have to answer your question. Yes, my soul calls to my garden. It’s literally where I get to fellowship with Jesus mostly without interruptions. Thank you so much for the reminder that we need to celebrate the little things, sometimes what we think was a small thing, in hindsight, we see that some of the little things have a bigger impact than we expect. God bless y’all, I really enjoy watching your videos - your channel is one of my favorites 😀

I don’t mean to disrespect, or upset anyone when I tell you this. My friend years ago also started raising pigeons to do the same. 3 yrs later he lost his eye sight from pigeons eye. Medical term if I remember correctly is Ocular Histoplasmosis. Something you should look into. You can also get what is more common, histoplasmosis in the lungs. This both myself and my brother have. I got mine from raising parakeet’s, my brother from bats that were living in his attic. The family didn’t know about it. I don’t know why I got it because I used all the precautions. Also I only had 2. It’s something that can just happen.
Anyway, I wasn’t going to say anything about it as I felt maybe you would think it’s not my business, or maybe just don’t worry about it. This was just something I felt I had to share. I know you both are very knowledgeable, and you know what your doing. So again, I don’t mean to butt in.

It’s a good reminder about appreciating the everyday things. I just had my baby in March and this pregnancy was so very exhausting. I was getting so discouraged because I couldn’t help get the early spring plants going. I was so looking forward to the second year in our house and being ready to have greens, peas, carrots and broccoli. But I just could not get going with it. I understand your tomato plant problem. Haha! I also have not cleaned the house well in a while or cooked many dinners. I was very disappointed in myself. But lately I’ve been thinking that I need to let go a little and just enjoy the days with my kids. Give myself a break. Obviously, my body needed it. Thanks for sharing your insights! I’m glad you got some time in the garden. Garden therapy.

Garden cloth is worth it's weight in gold! Less premiere fencing and more permanent fencing, is a blessing! Is there a market for homing pigeons? With chickens you can hatch your own, then sell chickens, chicks, and eggs. Within a year this would be profitable, in 5 years it could be a good chunk of money! Widen the corn bin, with a 5 year goal. Rhubarb and strawberries is delicious no matter how you make it!!

I am relieved to see that your no dig garden still has weeds as it has for as long as I have watched as does mine. Makes me feel ok. I watch a few garden channels that promote no dig means no weeds and I just do not think that is ever possible. Organic gardens will get weeds no matter what. So just a bit confused with that however knew it was to good to be true. And some weeds are beneficial, as you have mentioned lambs quarters certainly are.
Bri you are doing amazing with growing twins at this age so if you need to sleep to grow them who cares. Our bodies heal and grow with sleep. So two babies are needing more too. I had my last baby at 38 and I over extended myself to just keep going. I wish I had rested more. And you are certainly making up for it in between. So rock on. hugs and luv

I raised utility pigeon for a while. That corn crib is the perfect buidling for pigeons. Easy to spray out. Even though homer pigeons arent bred for eating, I have to admit that pigeon/squab is my favorite. They taste like wild duck.
I eventually got frustrated with raising pigeons. They kept abandoning their babies and I needed to raise them with weird devices for feeding. Also their feed got pricey.
I do recommend only letting them hatch one egg per cycle.

"My brain is trying to catch up with my body, about, like, what I can accomplish" . This describes me since I turned 70. Several years on and I still get frustrated. Those babies will make it all worth the hassle. Love watching your family.
I had an uncle who talked about raising rabbits and pigeons for meat when he was a boy. They lived in Chicago and had a one car garage that fed the family. The kids would mow vacant lots and collect the clippings as hay for the rabbets, and he said the feed for the birds was cheap. I think having pigeons is a great project. Good luck Grace.
