I am so happy for the animals getting to graze the newly grown pasture. They were so playful. Thanks for sharing the day. Hope Bri feels better soon. Have a Blessed day.
Great to see the cows jump for joy at being let out on the grass. I'm glad you let the grass grow quite a bit to give them a bigger biomass to start on so they don't run out of grass too soon. That was very sweet of you to make homemade chicken soup to help Bri with her cold. I wish you could get more adult help to work with you on the farm. So much to do and you are only one man. An amazing man but still only one. Take care! I'll be praying for you.
You know we could all take a lesson from that bull...with that attitude of delightful bliss ... it is simple field of grass but to him it is the most marvelous and WONDERFUL thing in the world. We all need to slow down and enjoy the green grass. Love your videos. Love and peace
Right you are...put a rose (artificial one) on your dash board to remind you to take time to smell the roses. Sometimes we are in just too much of a hurry to notice anything and in Spring there is just so much to see.
@@margaretbedwell58 and dont forget to tell the ones you love that you love them. I lost my soulmate but last words the night before I found him where "" I love you ""
Hi art, when I had a lot of rats my traps didn't work very well until someone told me rats can smell you on any surface so it is important to wear gloves when touching the traps. I did and got a bunch in the first 48h. Good luck with yours 😁
Aww. What a beautiful day for the animals. The children look as happy especially with that chicken soup. I will say a prayer for Bri to get better. I know that soup made with love should sooth her.
Love the green grass and with kids and animals running through it! I miss the days when my boys would play outside in the dirt☺️! Blessings to you all! May Bri get well soon 💕! Thank you for sharing Art💗🤗!
Being sick while hugely pregnant is no fun for sure! Chicken soup and plenty of fluids will work wonders along with a touch of nursing from her hubby! Feel better soon, Bri.
I have hated cooked carrots all of my life. A few years ago I saw that someone used chicken broth to cook the carrots in. I was amazed at how good the broth made the carrots taste!
What a fun video! It not only was a great day for the bull...............but it also made my day a lot happier! I had to go through and do comments and hand ups, been watching y'all on the big screen [TV] and can't do these things. Blessings
Hoping Bri recovers soon. I know that the chicken soup will do the job. Oh my look how happy the bull is romping and playing in the grass. What a joy to work with nature in it's purest form. Nothing like it.
Yum that soup looked awesome. Kids really seemed to enjoy it. It's good to see the animals out enjoying the pasture. Hope Bri feels better. God Bless to all
I found a chicken soup recipe for colds recently. For some reason they recommended using an old rooster cooked with its head and comb and feet. Sauteing vegetables is great for flavor but I would also cook veggies with the soup from the beginning for best mineral extraction, even if you have to discard them later. Adding a piece of cabbage to chicken soup is also beneficial. Top with chopped parsley and you have a great medicinal cup of soup.
This reminded me of something. I had never seen before. I drove by a farm I think it was last year and a big bull was scratching his neck on this contraption that was like a circle metal thing. I actually backed up because needed to see. Anyway I realized he was scratching his neck on something actually made for him to. So this was pretty interesting to see how happy he was.
I loved the The Old Dirt Road! Get better soon Bri. The joy of the Bull and cows is so good! I believe Spring is here, finally. Here in TN. we aren't as far along as you are. We were at 37 just a couple of nights ago. GOD bless
Art to help with getting rid of rats get small plastic containers with lids, peppermint essential oil and some wick. Cut small slit in lid place wick into the slit dilute oil with water place lidon container and place any place you have seen rats.
A little behind on watching videos... so glad to see you using our skillet!! It makes my heart sing! I hope the chicken soup cures mommas cold :) the animals look so happy for spring!!
Just watching your video Art. If you don't give them a HUGE section your pasture will last. By making them smaller each section you will have enough grass. We have been doing it successfully for 6 years. And we had 20 acres the first farm and 80 the second time.
Art--your thumbnail rocks! Wonderful lesson to be learned for all and that is making the time to smell the roses or in this case appreciate new grass!!
You might consider doing like me and 'sacrificing' a part of your pasture to make an outdoor pen. Sure it will be over-grzed and compacted, but woodchips and deep littering would help, and the animals wouldn't get that cabin fever so much. You do say you feel they have emotions, and were bored inside. Logs and whatnot give them toys too. A sturdy scratching post might be a nice addition.
So nice watch the young men scaling the wall. Summer energy's. Thank you so much for sharing your journeys. And thank you for reminding me too transplant the plants.
We also have a friesian steer. They switch their brain off completely when they're hungry. Going through fences will happen if your fence isn't mechanically sufficient to stop them.
Praying bree feels better soon. Such a beautiful family. Can't believe twins will be here soon. May God bless your family xoxoxoxo. 😘😘😘😇😇🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should check out the Gripple products. There are TH-cam videos. The tensioner make work easier. It's perfect for fences, orchards, berries, grapes. It has lots of other industrial uses as well.
Now that you have the cows and goats out of the barn will you be scraping out the barn to add to your manure pile? Dinner looks yummie, thanks for sharing.
The other day Art mentioned a podcast Bri likes to listen to. I didn’t write it down because I thought I’d remember it, right. Does anyone have a better memory than me? I think it was Old something, maybe? Ugh!
Art, you are such a sweet husband & father. Way to love your family well. Praying for Bri & the babies.
I am so happy for the animals getting to graze the newly grown pasture. They were so playful. Thanks for sharing the day. Hope Bri feels better soon. Have a Blessed day.
The cows' excitement was rivaled only by Art's glee to see them enjoy some space and grass.
You can hear that momma goose hissing pretty well. Any goslings yet?
The pure joy of the bull was hilarious!
Wishing Bri a speedy recovery.

Oh I love watching animals go out for the first time.
How lovely to see them out on that well awaited grass.
Cute seeing you wearing another TH-cam homesteader's merch. I love the community you folk have built.
