Wow what great friends to have in the Rhodes family. They shared their lives and homestead when you needed it and then chose you to share in the birth of baby Henry. That is something money cannot buy.

They have been friends for years even before the videos started showing their lives.

Yes, Rebecca and Bri have know each other for longer than any of us know. But friends from childhood or not, homesteaders and ppl just getting off grid, can create a very strong bond.
One other thing that they are all blessed to have is, Art. Him being a nurse don’t hurt anything one tiny bit.
I have never talked about the status of the United States 🇺🇸 of American. I’m gonna be 70 in a few short weeks. I was born in the country. Both of my parents were born ( off grid ). Both had outhouses. Both could see the chickens that stayed under the shot gun- house in the cold weather of winter.
With nothing to keep a little warm inside their shotgun houses, but a pot bellied stove that was in the center of the living room. And a stove that they used for cooking their meager food that they were able to can for the winters.
I’m only talking about this because of #Bri and #Rebecca, the beautiful one. If memory serves, Justin called his wife, whom which he appears to Love very Much.
All 4 of them have been Blessed to be close enough to one another to be able to help each other.
Not one single person will probably read my words. And that fact doesn’t really bother me. I have spoke my words and then I tapped the words out on my phone.
I would love to be able to ask everyone why, why can’t we love each other? And help one another.
But I am a snowflake in a Blizzard...........

As someone who doesn’t have kids, it’s always so crazy to me how parents understand their young children, though I do get that they’re with them 24/7 basically and know their “language” haha 😂
Nevertheless, I always appreciate that Brianna repeats what Wilder says for those of us who are stumped! 🥰

@@annwithaplan9766 in a large bowl of water (maybe 2 quarts or so), I'd add about 2 tablespoons of salt. Then I'd slosh the greens in the salty water and rinse well. You can do this with broccoli, which often has those little green worms.

When the Suzuki Samurai came out in the '80s, we called it the Plastic Jeep. They were cheap, weighed nothing, sat too high, and had too short a wheel base. If you sneezed at one it would roll over. But women (mostly hairdressers I suspect) loved them. Hottest car on the road. ;-)

We have to be careful with our homegrown lettuce here in Hawaii. For quite some time a battle with rat lung disease has been causing lots of medical problems. When you found that slug on your lettuce I thought to just throw away the whole bunch of lettuce. For us to eat homegrown lettuce and other vegetables we have to wash them really really well. I prefer eating lettuce that is in a bag already cleaned and processed for distribution from the main lands.
