Yea definitely nice and easy to double check that the fridge is working a not spoiling any food.
Mines useless. Reads 50⁰ over 24hr but high/low is around thr range i have set it too
Even tested with a proper thermometer and thr kings one was miles off
I have the Engel on I think king copy it same to work ok
I'm looking for a external temp thermometer for my car. Would anyone know of a unit with a built in manual way of calibrating it to the true outdoor temp?
Hi Ken the reciever records the temp of the car and displays the temp of the fridge
Any updates on this monitor? Mine is very erratic.
Mine does seem to vary around 6-7 degrees over a 24hpur period. Main thing i use if for is a quick check my fridge is on.
I bought one of these...worked perfectly in the house fridge. I transferred it to the Engel in the truck and it couldn't cope. Uninstalled and then installed the batteries in both units - the signal has never been re-established. Short of praying as a lapsed Catholic, I'm not sure there's anything else I can do.

Return to store and get them to give you a new one seems like the obvious choice.
Mine doesn’t work no matter how long I leave it, new.
Send it back mate while it's under warranty.

They're simply useless. Mine runs 10 deg high. Waste of money
Did you return it and get a new one..mines pretty accurate
