  • The Kings 75L Dual Zone Fridge / Freezer will fit 112 cans and you can set the temperature anywhere from +10°C all the way down to -18°C. Plus, the Dual Zone functionality means you can Set both sides as a fridge, both as a freezer or one of each. You can even turn either compartment completely off to save power if you don’t need all the space. The fridge is lightweight and compact, weighing only 19.5kg when empty and measuring under 90cm long. Inside there’s a wire basket in each compartment which makes packing the fridge simple and along with the internal LED lights that automatically come on whenever you open the lid. It’s easy to carry, with moulded handles and the insulated lid is reversible so you can tailor it to any vehicle or setup.

    How do ya switch the doors to open the other way plesse mate?

      Open the lid to about 30 degrees with one hand, then use the palm of your other hand to get it off the bottom hinge mount. You sort of pull it with one hand and push it over the holding lip with the palm of your other hand. If it doesn't work try raising or lowering the lid slightly. It worked for me. Cheers.

    Apparently this one is NOT Secop compressor according to 4WD SupaCentre but a Huayi. Are you sure yours is a Secop? And also not 5 years warranty but usual one year.

      You're absolutely correct. I purchased this fridge believing it to have a Secop compressor and I just found out it has the Huayi. It does come with a 2 years warranty. Thanks for letting me know.

      @@derekeasterbrook6791 would you consider buying this if you knew it's a Huayi compressor? I am currently torn at the decision because I love the light weight and lower price of one and the quality and reliability of the other 🤦

      @@xunsallis4181 Absolutely. I have two other portable fridge freezers and they have Chinese compressors. The 50 litre single-zone fridge, I purchased off Ebay, is branded Fifth Gear and it's 8 years old and it's great. The other one is a Brass Monkey 15 litre fridge and I've had this one for 3 years. I'm an electrician and I work on household appliances and it's very rarely that the compressor fails because they're well protected. It's generally the electronics, gas or other parts that fail first. I purchased this 75 litre fridge because of the net weight at 19.5kg. The only trouble I've had is user error and by that I mean I haven't set the battery protection level to medium or low and all 3 fridges did come up with a fault code E1 and stop cooling and I blamed the fridge until I worked out what was wrong. Even the new Kings fridge came up with the fault and I took it back to the store and they explained how to set the battery protection level, so now all 3 fridges are set to medium protection.

      @@derekeasterbrook6791 Thank you for your reply, after much debate between myself and the hubby he decided to go with the StayzCool one instead, 11kg heavier and 1/3 more expensive but the 3 more years warranty seems to make it worthwhile🤷

    The fridge does not work on 240 V
    240V goes into a transformer and converts to 12V.
    Thats what im told

    • @derekeasterbrook6791
      @derekeasterbrook6791  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's correct. It comes with the transformer. My fridge is in the camper trailer and I've only used it on 12V. It's just like a laptop computer, they have transformers as well. I've just sold the fridge with the camper trailer.

    You lost me at king's . . . . . . Hope it treats you well mate but I'm never purchasing another one of their products since having so many things fail and customer service is non-existent. The oztrail looks like a bargain!

    • @derekeasterbrook6791
      @derekeasterbrook6791  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the comment. The reviews for the Oztrail are poor and the Dometic and Engel fridges are too expensive, but I'll follow up with a review in 12 months. Cheers.

      @@derekeasterbrook6791 will be interested to see how it goes mate. Once bitten twice shy with king's gear in my experience at least.
      I even had a double refund for a $100 camera and also a double delivery of camp chairs . . . . . This didn't make up for the amount of time it took to persistently keep harassing them about where my items were . . . . Took months and months to the point I almost gave up! Only good thing I've had from king's was a led strip 👍

      Oztrail are trash, there 80ltr lasted 8 months till it burnt out and they sent it away for 3 months to be "fixed" just for it not to work on 12 volt after fix
