2008 BMW 750LI CRANK NO START

Called out for this one where i deviate from my process!!! This cost me a few minutes... still diagnosed it well within the hour diagnostic fee.
if you notice after I put some fuel in the tank, one sensor is still reading zero, after I added the fuel and started the vehicle the customer then admitted to NOT hooking up the level sensor when he replaced the fuel pump, looking at the fuel tank layout in service information this has 2 level sensors, a main fuel pump and a transfer pump, not sure which one he left disconnected but he now knows he has to hook it back up 😆
Along with being unfamiliar with my scan tool with BMW, I made the mistake of believing the customers suspicion that this problem was the same issue as the last time I diagnosed this vehicle for a crank no start... I learned to ALWAYS follow my process and just keep in the back of my mind what the customer may suspect...
I was also stuck on the idea of filming the EWS realignment...another example of being too concerned with making a video over fixing the car lol. I was unable to film the process in this video------ • 2007 BMW 750LI Crank N... and i was hoping to do so in this one...maybe next time lol

Hello, I have a BMW 750 Li 2006, it starts but does not start, the pulses do not go to the spark plug coils

Do you have injector pulse? If no injector pulse or coil pulses you may have to reset the ews with a capable tool like I had to do on this car

Start with a scan report, need to see if any codes will give you direction

I turned off a car while it was driving after that i turned it on and it did not start. Crank but not start
