If you like these guys I think you'll like Bad Omens, The Plot In You, Too Close To Touch, Catch Your Breath, Until I Wake, Picturesque, Caskets, and Holding Absence. There are plenty of other bands out there that have that metalcore/pop-type sound but the ones I listed were the only ones I could think of at the moment. Dayseeker, Bad Omens, and The Plot In You also have some really good old heavier songs that you should check out as well.

I went to a Pierce the Veil and Dayseeker concert back in November and I had floor seats and when Pierce came on I looked over and just saw Rory just standing there and got a picture with him. And he sounds just the same live. Definitely would recommend it

There are no casual Dayseeker fans, they just too damn good. For some background, this song / album were a tribute to Rory's late father, who was trying to navigate the emotional high of his daughter's birth and then sudden passing of his father soon after. The album as a whole has such a crazy melancholy vibe to it - challenge anyone not to cry when it hits those last few songs. Musically, as both a synthwave artist and long-time metal fan, this pocket they've found sitting in the middle of both genres is just *chefs kiss*. Enjoy the journey, man - next on the list have to be 'Without Me', 'Crying While You're Dancing', 'Dreamstate', 'Burial Plot'.
