I enjoyed the mixed reviews that Andre picked and carefully handed over to you only to try and avoid getting a paper cut as you flung them back in his face. But seriously, 6 stars to this video…. 1 extra for Bill passionately defending his Charleston and getting a little heated over the ridiculousness of some reviews. Keep up the good work !
On a more serious note, though, I agree with your point that you can walk around downtown without much cost. Sure, if you intend to eat out and do the higher cost stuff, that’s going to potentially be a source of complaint. We took our 2 kids there I think 2-3 times last time we visited and we parked for free by the pineapple park and just walked the areas, found a nice little playground we never saw before.

@@TheBillOlson spent many a Friday/Sat night with my best friend (still my best friend) playing that one as teenagers. In a strange way, games like that kept us from doing far worse.
I laughed so many times while watching! I really enjoyed this one! Yes, there is traffic, and I have been stuck for 2 hours on a route that is usually 30 minutes but things happen. When you live surrounded by water there are only so many routes. However, the traffic is something you learn to live with and it isn't as outrageous as bigger cities. There is a ton of things to do for locals. Soooo many great parks! I have 3 page Google doc on different parks to visit! Many of the touristy attractions will have special promotion periods that give discounts to locals as well. And I am always scratching my head when they say the restaurants aren't good. How many have they tried? Because Charleston and surrounding islands have massive amounts of eateries and restaurants. Another 3 page Google doc with places to eat! I will agree that the drivers aren't the greatest though (cue Charleston Slide action). LOL
