@sbreed33 The pomel end of the tool is angled creating 2 pointed corners. You could use the pomel end as a hammer or use one of the points to break auto glass. I have never seen one with a pointed tip instead of the angled pommel. If you look at the video @ 4:54 you get a good view of the shape of the pomel, and what I mean about how you could use the end to hammer or use one of the pointed corners to break glass.
@miltnxc123 On duty I carry a Sig P226. I wouldn't know what sidearms are carried more. About 1/3 of all US Law Enforcement agencies either issue or authorize Glock firearms to be carried, but I don't know what agencies approve which models. The same is true for Sig, and the same number do not issue any sidearm, they let their officers choose their own.
hey renegade410 big fan of your videos i was watching your duty belt video and was wondering what nylon holder you have there for the surefire lx2 it deosent look like the surefire holder that the website sells
ON AMAZON all the reviewers complain about the sheath being too loose. you're lucky yours doesnt have a glassbreaker point on the end....a poker in the side when on a belt wear.
To renegade410, I've seen images of this knife that shows a small, pointed tip mounted to the butt of the knife that is meant to be used as a glass breaker. Did the knife come with such a feature since it isn't visible in the video? I recall seeing something about the feature mentioned on Wilson Combat's website although most of the images I've seen don't show it.
@renegade410 I saw the image of the tip I spoke of when performing a Google image search on the terms "Boker cop tool." The first of these images is on line 10 (page 4) and again on line 14 (page 5). This could be a feature that never made it into production, so I really don't know, although the tip would serve as a glass breaker much better than the pommel end would.
@silverbullet51 I think its really going to depend on the agency you want to work for. Some are receptive to allowing you to use the training and techniques you learned in the military, some are not. I don't think it would not be benificial, but like I said its very dependent on the agency you want to work for.
@nypd67p I have tried carrying it in a couple different locations. I tried keeping it clipped to my gun belt and also tried carrying it in different pockets. I think I'm going to puchase a holder that is actually designed to hold a pager on a duty belt for it and try that as well.
@ultrabeastmode Yeah, the D2 version used to be on the Wilson Combat website, but its not anymore. If I remember correctly it was approximetly $150 USC.
@silverbullet51 It depends on what Law Enforcement agency you want to work for. Some local agencies do not require either college or military. Some require one or the other to be hired, but may require college to advance in rank. Federal Law Enforecement requires college. as far as I know, to be hired, even if you have military experience.
i bought the first one, I want that second one though. I never even seen the one with the d2 steel, thats awesome. If you dont mind me asking about how much did that one cost?
@renegade410 dude sorry about that..........didnt mean to frustrate.....i never really thought that sooooo many people would ask u the same question........oh and sorry i replied back so late......i almost never check my inbox
@kebs10 It is a handy tool. My EDC hasn't changed, except for my new cell phone. I'll take a closer look and see if there are enough changes for a new video. I want to get to a work EDC video, but that's a lot of stuff. We'll see what happens in the future. Thanks for watchig.
Lol I like the design without the serated edge I'm making one tomarow withe a regular knife edge every things abot the same except like its6 1/2 in not 6
@Driverfound18T Thank you. The light in that video is the L2, it is no longer produced by Surefire. I do not remember the model number of the holder for it. I currently have the LX2 on my rig and I use the V91 Quick Release holder that Surefire sells for the LX2. I'm glad that you enjoy my videos. I hope to have some new ones soon. I'm planning on shooting a few videos this week. Thank you for watching.
@lazymurderer I guess I'm going to have to make a video on this subject. I have REPEATEDLY posted (on almost every video in fact) that I will not say where I live or what agency I work for. I'm not yelling @ you in particular, but I just do not understand why that question keeps comming up. I have my thoughts on this clearly posted on my channel page and in responses in almost all of my videos. Thank you for watching and again please don't be offended, its just getting very frustrating for me.
@renegade410 I know this videos a little older but I thought Id give you this link to the D2 version i found midwayusa (dot) com/viewProduct/?productNumber=322404
Nice little tool, stay safe too!
You are smart. Alot of Public safety officers give that info away without thinkin
Awesome Vid!!! I'm going to get one of these. I really liked it.
Another great video. Think I am going to pick one of these up.

Great vid Renegade, you should do a vid on police body armour, that would be very interesting!
The german Böker Website shows the cop tool with a Glassbreaker on the pomel.
Maybe they've changed the design since you got yours.

I just bought one last night and it does have a pointed pommel. I have to say, this knife so far is a great work knife!
I want one! But i wish the blade was about a half an inch longer

I tell there's a lot of machining involved, but being made in Taiwan, it should be significantly less than 55 dollars! But i'm also broke. cool tool.
dude in what state/ city do you you work 4????? just wonderinnn......
That's possible. Mine has a flat edge on the pommel, they might have a newer design.
@lazymurderer Its ok. Thank you for watching.
@Nobeone Thank you, and thanks for watching.

@schu740guy The requirements awill vary from agency to agency. I wouldn't say it was hard, but you do have to work to get through the training.
@renegade410 dude sorry about that..........didnt mean to frustrate.....i never really thought that sooooo many people would ask u the same question........oh and sorry i replied back so late......i almost never check my inbox
I would probably neck carry the Wilson custom as opposed to in the belt carry.
