    That little bit between Seaton and Beer is good fun when it's clear and you can give it some beans around those bends 😁

    Down my neck of the woods here. I'm in Weymouth, so just down the road from Dorchester. Sad to say, but people still jump off the arch, and even try to take the short cut down to the beach instead of using the steps. One lady died recently trying to do just that, and slipped landing on the beach below. Madness !

      @midlifemotorcyclediaries  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You live in a beautiful part of the country! For the life of me I can’t understand why anyone would do something so reckless as jumping off? 🤷‍♂️ I can think of better ways to get an adrenaline rush 🏍 😀👍

    Nice route and looks like the weather was lovely too. Beer (the town!) looks lovely. Hoping to get away this coming weekend. I’ve tried to see what’s available there but sadly not a lot of choice on those dates. We wouldn’t want to leave the bikes in a public carpark. Might check out Sidmouth instead. We visited Exmoor last year. Lovely area. Loved Lynton and Lynmouth. The views along from Porlock Hill to there are stunning! Look forward to your next instalment. 👍🏻

    Great Job Guys. A Place called Beer Haaa, Im there . Yeah the Klim Jacket aint cheap, but I have to say they are the best out there . Good Drone Footage of the Giant, yeah Gotta wonder why they did that. Durdle Door looked like a great place to visit as well. LOL I like the fast forwarding in the Town of Beer, someone must have been getting thirsty . Yeah Id be Grumpy as well if my Beer wasn't right. Yeah Nice seaside Village , worth going there for sure. Yeah good you get to take the less travelled roads, more interesting than the Highways , still looks bloody tight, they must have made them for Push Bikes LOL MMM the scones looked amazing, Yummyy. Yeah Lynmouth certainly has History after that Devastating Flood, very popular place to visit. Anyway Good Stuff, Ride Safe Party on Cheers Paul

    • @midlifemotorcyclediaries
      @midlifemotorcyclediaries  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks very much Bill and Rachel! We’re glad you enjoyed watching our adventures 😀 when we’re selecting our accommodation we first look at our destination and then look for suitable places to stay. It must have secure parking for the bikes - we’ve only once parked in a public car park but that was in a small village - it must have some provision for an evening meal/drink like a pub or if it’s a B&B it must be walkable to somewhere to eat. Once we have parked up for the day we don’t want to get back on the bikes to find somewhere to eat. We check all this out on Booking.com and often read all the feedback from other guests before booking. We tend to use Booking.com because of its cancellation policy. Naturally it has to be reasonably priced too. Hope that helps! 👍😀

    cream first, as the jam spreads easier on cream, but not the other way.

  • @ColSnders
    @ColSnders 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Hmmm, is it the Devon or Cornish method? Probably a bit sacrilegious but, from a US perspective, I would draw a comparison with the lowly PBJ sandwich. In this case, you always apply the peanut butter first (cream) and then the jelly (jam). Otherwise, you'd have a right mess. Case solved? Cheers

    The Cerne Abbas Giant is listed as a scheduled monument of England and the site is owned by the National Trust and do not allow drone flying from or over National Trust land. and The use of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) or drones is not permitted at any English Heritage sites without prior approval. the Jurassic coast does NOT start in Beer it starts in Exmouth,,,,

    Hello to you both, thoroughly enjoy your productions and variety of trips, your editing is somewhat different to most as in you add dialogue during editing, I have difficulty editing so maybe should try your style, any pointers?
    Notice your GoPro remote is plugged in to a power source, did that with mine but does not charge when in use, does yours, considering adding an external larger capacity battery so will work for , well as much as I need from say 1000 ma externalaly wired battery?
    Keep up the great videos, ride safe.
    Derek

    • @midlifemotorcyclediaries
      @midlifemotorcyclediaries  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks very much Derek! Appreciate your comments 👍 the reason I add dialogue during editing is because I don’t want ride with cameras and wires attached to my helmet! It’s personal choice and apart from aesthetics, I’m not sure how sticking external things to helmets affects the integrity of the helmet in case of an off 🤔 . What is your difficulty with editing? If I can help I’d be happy to. I plugged my go pro remote into the power source because it wasn’t charging properly and it seemed to work OK . 👍😀
