On my tour of the UK I stayed at the Crown Hotel. I ended up with a room that was three rooms. A bedroom, a bathroom and another room with very comfy chairs and settee and tv. This room led out onto a patio area. Again like you I didn't drink the Guinness but I went for the Cider. I wasn't there on the curry night but the food was still very good.
Just catching up on my subscriptions after returning from our Canaries cruise so was pleased to see your vlog, as good a vlog as ever and enjoyed the ride. Never too old to own a motorcycle I took delivery of a Ducati Scrambler the day before we flew to Tenerife to join the ship but was a little sorry to see my 1972 Honda CB450 K5 go in P/X, I never realised there were so many innovations on a modern bike, I'd completely lost track of the improvements after only riding Japanese classics for the last twenty years. Ride safe.

Another cracking video. Great to see you both back on TH-cam. Looks like you had fantastic weather for the trip. Sue might have bottled out of the bunker ( I think my wife would too! ) It did look really interesting I will admit. I've never been to the Cotswolds on my bike, maybe time I did!

We love the Cotswolds. Unfortunately lots of other people do and it does get busy. We skipped the bunker as well, not sure how well I would have fitted down that access shaft 😬 Curry looked great but pubs/hotels that don't do real ale!!! Loving the reminder what what a summer day in England looks like. Hope you're both having a great Christmas

It's a hard life..... I was at the top of Fish hill earlier this year too, but went down the road opposite to Broadway Tower to the golf club. The views were magnificent there too, shame about the golf😂 Have a great Christmas and a healthy new year 👍

I am actually an (old) cycling guide (eMTB/Road/Gravel or even motorcycle) Just heading out now on my eMTB to a nice beach to do my daily "grounding" (PS - we'd give anything for a white xmas!! haha) Merry Xmas to u both!

Another excellent video thank you. It is surely a most beautiful part of the country and the weather helped. It’s an area close to my heart and lovely to see it again. My ancestors lived in Lower Slaughter until they emigrated to New Zealand in 1840.

There was a bunker under the playground of my Primary school, it wasn't nuclear more WW2 but it's crazy to think how many were built and maybe forgotten about. 😊
Great video, and some lovely sights, but for me, there's too much 'generic' or royalty free music and not enough talky bits... Some intercom narrative, or talking in place of the minutes and minutes of uninterrupted video gets a little bit tedious. Don't get me wrong, you visited some lovely places and showed some fantastic sights, but doing the narrative _over_ the video in place of the royalty free music would, in my opinion, be far more entertaining.
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries most welcome - me and the wife love watching the videos, but hearing minutes of s**t music over what could be some fabulous exhaust noise and a bit of narrative instead of the separate narration segments would really help the videos flow more easily, and I would expect be easier for you to edit, no doubt.
Get a V strom and ride with confidence get rid of that German rubbish as soon as you can before it costs you a fortune !!!!!!!! AND IT WILL !!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Uncle was in ROC, went into bunker near Bridlington a couple of times. He once fired the emergency siren off. That cleared the ear wax 😂.
