Welcome Callum to Mirpur and it’s surrounding villages. As you can see how generous and welcoming people from this area are. My family are from this area too. Missing the village life. Enjoy your stay and keep vlogging😊
Loving your Kashmir videos. Not many Brits actually go there but it’s a beautiful place with lovely people. I’m from Luton but my parents are from there. Wish I had the time to go there more and Pakistan in general. I went to Inverness recently - the mountains there remind me of the Kashmir mountains but with a cold climate.
Just subscribed, amazing vlogs in our areas , love the respectful way you greet people and-your attention to details , especially the beautiful mosque. Enjoy the bliss and hospita of our region.
Big Respect and warmest welcome to visited our side area, Class VLOG and much thanks to showing the world our really faces. Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Pakistan
I saw you Callum in Chowk Mirpur while crossing the road.. Welcome again in Mirpur the piece of land ..... Hope you enjoy here again... & your visit become memorable... Lots of love✌️ from Mirpurians🌹
Callum please go to Bhimber, you will absolutely love it.... Their also samaani which is right by the border... Feel these place are more isolated but the beuty of the mountains will take you back
Definitely worth a visit and it’s absolutely scenic all the way to the shrine , although I’m not a shrine fan but the place provides so many with livelihood by way of tourist. Watch out for the baboons in pine trees , they can be really vicious.
@@britishkashmiri169 I was taken there by a relative on a recent trip; certainly recommend seeing and I'm only recommending for the view on route. I'm also not a fan of shrines and personally don't agree with visiting them too.
Wow world is so interesting, I am from pulmanda grew up in other side of the bridges from this place and live in Manchester drive Uber Sunday had drop off in Liverpool, there are some similarities between me n you mate
It must be a special connection for the expat British Pakistani community meeting a British person touring Pakistan. There would be an instant connection. Callums experience this meeting many friendly British people in Mirpur.
Majority of the people from mirpur city are living in England from decades so this British guys has friendship with these Pakistani British which take them to their native city
don't worry he's safe in Pakistan, crime rates are virtually 0 in most places outside the cities. just don't travel around at stupid o clock because there do b bandits that block roads and rob traveling entourages. sorry thats probably not helping, but trust me he will be ok, someone will take him under their wing wherever he goes, that's how it works in Pakistan.
Don’t worry he’s safer in kashmir than he would be inGlasgow city , us Kashmiris are extremely hospitable people , even strangers would protect him. Bandits don’t rob foreigners , they only go for rich local people, even bandits have hospitality ingrained in them. My last trip back home was one of the best breaks I’ve had in a long time, just being surrounded by greenery and mountains is therapeutic. Scotland and wales are my favourite places in UK, they are similar in terrain to our kashmir.
@Nature Lover Open your eyes It's morning Sun is out Everything is clear Like crystal But some people Can just see darkness They forget this is Not outside It's in within Themselves
Interesting to see where the British mirpuri money is going because in the uk they are still amongst the most deprived communities, living in inner cities terraces ( although there is a move outward) and with a culture quite distinct from other Pakistanis . Mirpur is very advanced now which is good to see. Very different to high mirpuri areas in the uk .. like alum rock in Birmingham
no, we are not a deprived community, there are plenty of people in these inner city areas who are millionaires ie alum rock, sparkhill, small heath etc. and not everyone is a drug dealer. alot of people just like to stay in the community, and there are massive houses in these areas that are worth £1milllion plus. plenty of people I grew up have become successful dr's, lawyers, businessman, stock brokers, estate agents every occupation under the sun, and still live in these areas. there's people driving around in supercars, rolls Royce etc on a daily basis. people just assume the areas are deprived because they associate non white with poverty
@@chozusmakavelli yes having lived and worked amongst them I agree many are super rich and as I said originally there is upward mobility. And yes you do see fancy cars all over sparkhill or alum rock. The mirpuri community has been very successful in accumulating wealth being a close knit “ biraderi “ . Fair play to them . But the fact is a great majority live in deprived areas and suffer lots of health and social issues. This is my experience of 25 years working with them. I am not blaming them ( after all we all faced the same racial discrimination in the beginning and even today) but it is clear that although the cars are fancier , the deeper issues faced are still the same as 20 years ago . But obviously this is a generalisation . And it’s not a criticism. It’s an observation and respect that they value their community and still love their homeland.
I know you did the modern Pakistan vs villages video already but you should visit bahria town in Islamabad or Rawalpindi aswell. I think you’ll like it. Also I can’t wait for the Dadyal vlog

@ Callum. Will U be going to the Champions league of sceneries up in North Kashmir. Gilgit & Balistan. I've never been but heard beautiful things about that region. Nice village video btw. Majority of the mansions r empty or have squatters bcoz the owners r in d UK. Lol. Maad.
Loving these videos Callum, Pakistan looks great. It would be epic if you can visit Bangladesh one day..We were part of Pakistan (East Pakistan) until the war in 1971 which resulted in a defeat for Pakistan and the country of Bangladesh was born..I'm a Bangladeshi who is born and raised in the UK but visit Bangladesh every so often..If you ever decide to go then give me a shout..I can show you around and you can even stay at our village where we have built a house a few years back and you can experience the Bangladeshi hospitality!
4:44 onwards... You have a visitor from Britain, and rather than invite him to tawheed & the correct aqeedah... We take him to a place where Shirk is committed. He may as well be at a Hindu temple across the border.. 🤦🏽♂️ I'm from near Khadimabad, Dadyal by the way.
Owning weapons is a God given right. This village reminds me of the suburbs in my Midwestern city.

Unfortunately most of these houses are empty because the owners prefer to live in uk in a 2up 2down house in a miserable weather 😂🤦
I know right! What's wrong with us?
Because their offspring is british not pakistani, so Mirpur is foreign to them, but their parents still have their hearts in Pakistan.
