I have been listening to Sylosis for years. I can never get enough.
Josh started Sylosis back in around 2005, released an EP in 2006 and 2008 as well as a Debut album in 2008, he became the vocalist for 2011's Edge of The Earth album which is unbelievable --got to check out songs from EOTE and their Monolith albums from 2011 & 2012 respectively
Sylosis is criminally underrated... listen to their other songs. But if your looking for an absolute insane track try sylosis - apparitions

Sylosis is one of the most talented modern metal bands around. Extremely underrated and under appreciated. It's a true shame more people don't know about them. Have been listening to them since their very first EP and I love all their music.
Sylosis and Orbit Culture are the top metal bands right now. I’m glad you guys have been able to hear Sylosis. If you haven’t heard Orbit Culture, they are a must listen! Both bands don’t have a bad track.
I seen both of them together live in Birmingham last year and I wholeheartedly agree with the statement. Without a doubt the leading 2 bands driving metal forward right now
I have a lot of respect for both bands (and fucking love sylosis) but I'm not sure they're driving metal forward. I think there are way more innovative bands
Enjoy the discography. It’s hard as fuck. Drummer is in a band called bleed from within. Check out a song called temple of lunacy
Bleed From Within is one of the best bands to surface on mainstream. They’ve been around for quite some time though. They used to be more on the Deathcore side, but this new genre of Modern Metal fits way better for them. Scott is a beast on vocals.

You absolutely need to check out their albums “edge of the earth” and “monolith”, 2 of the best metal records in the last 15 years and I’d say a good amount of it is on another level compared to this song which is still great. Apparitions which someone else mentioned in the comments would be a great choice that song is special, Empyreal would be great for a reaction too, it’s the most popular song on edge of the earth album and has a music video. Anyway Sylosis rules, one of the absolute best bands in the business and Josh Middleton singer/lead guitarist/songwriter is a very special musician. They’ve always deserved a lot more attention than they’ve gotten. Anyway nice reaction guys, Sylosis is so good.

I still remember the day I first heard Sylosis. I said to myself "holy shit bro, that's almost the definition of metal to me", a week later I was a huge fan and also pissed that I had missed them all this time lol

Sylosis - Established 2000. Isn't that fucking crazy... Short story long, I remember chatting with the lads in Architects. This was back... 2009. Anyway, chatting with Dan and Tom (RIP) about music and such. Mentioned that I liked another band from the UK by the name of Sylosis... and they were both wide eyed/shocked. Later I found out that they were good friends with Josh.... then to see Josh ultimately take Tom's place, it felt so right on many levels.
Side note, that same tour. Adam (current Architects Guitarist) was filling in for Tom as he had sprained his finger.

As a long time fan of Josh. Been following him forever for sweep lessons. One of his big influences is Dimebag. These last few songs released have been heavily pantera influenced. I don't understand why they keep trying to compare this with architects. There is no comparison other than the person playing the guitar. Sylosis is just flat out brutal.🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

What you hear in the beginning (velociraptor) is a WHAMMY PEDAL, you have heard it before most notably in Pantera songs like BECOMING.
