    We loved the start of this film. Thanks for taking us along. The most artistic film yet, panning around the pub and area close up.
    A very enjoyable walkie and sunset near the end and reflections over that tarn were surreal ! 😆 👍 👊

    Looks like a crackin walk and camp spot, great vid, noticed the flames quilt, have you had it out a few times in cold weather and would you recommend? Looking to purchase if I get a few good reviews from it. Thanks

      @R6PhilOutdoorEnthusiast  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes was a great camp thanks, I’d deffo recommend the quilt it’s very warm. The coldest I’ve been out with it was around 3 degrees and didn’t feel cold, in conjunction with a good mat your good to go. I was going to use it as an extra quilt when very cold to go over my sleeping bag 👍🏼

      @@R6PhilOutdoorEnthusiast cool thanks for your info, I’ve just purchased my thermarest sleep mat and that’s a 6 R value and I’ve a sleeping bag liner that adds 8 degrees on I think 👍 think I’ll defo make the purchase then thank you, all the best

    Hi Phil, really enjoyed your video 🙂 I'm a new sub 👍 mcm & yourself have been recommended to me, I'm looking for people from around the Wigan area like me, I hope any of you can help me, I've been into bushcraft for a few year's now, watching Haze, Mike, Dustin etc but haven't been out for a solo camp as I have no idea where there is around my area apart from maybe the lake district, I'd want to meet like minded people interested in all of this & hope to maybe camping with them a few time's as like I said I've not done a solo yet & I don't have any friend's interested in this like I am. I hope any of you can help me or point me in the right direction (it would be great to hear back from you) thanks for your time, cheers, take care & stay safe, thanks again, Andy

      Hi Andy, I’m a Wigan lad too and will help you if I can. I did my first solo camp in the local woods, I just went a few times during the day to see what the activity was like before doing my camp. I’ve not been out much myself due to the old work life balance but you’ll find it’s not as bad as you think. The lakes are great but this time of year you need to know what your doing and have the right stuff, the Trough of Bowland is a good in between Fair Snape fell or Parlick, not as high as the lake fells. Hope that helps ATB
