The opening is definitely spoilery, but I watched it as I went through this season live, and I didn't feel spoiled because of the opening. Withouth the knowledge of what happens, for the first few episodes it didn't even resonate that they were showing anything that would actually happen during this arc. By the time I did realize it was almost kind of cool to see the opening because it built hype. I think the mistake people make is that they'll try to analyze the opening, sometimes even going through it and pausing to study each frame. When I went through this season watching the opening all it did was hype me up, and I wasn't able to guess the events of the arc. That's just me though, I like the foreshadowing.

The "problem" is that an average viewer (specially if he binges the whole show in a go) that just watched it on its own, its fine. Its filled with spoilers, but you don't know, and don't pay that much attention to it, and instead of discussing the episode afterwards, you just play the next one, eager to see what comes next. But as a reactor and a youtuber, the first time you read someone telling you to skip the opening, because its too spoilery... it becomes too spoilery, once you get that knowledge that its too filled with spoilers. Watching the opening is fine... as long as you have no communication with anyone in advance that let's you know its too spoilery. XD
The end scene shows Grisha and his sister wearing armbands forced to stay in a certain area which is very similar to how the jews had to live in nazi Germany, which also makes sense because of the time period
Basically the stupid author did the reverse for the concentration camps and made the eldians in concentration camps instead when in real life they were the nazi's
20:43 s02e01: the Beast-Titan didn't know what the ODM-gear was, so it couldn't have been Grisha from the start. Same goes for Erwins dad and literally everyone else from within the walls :)
I never thought of such a simple proof. I usually just went with Erwins dad is a dead teacher. Why would a teacher be the beast titan? And how could he come back from the dead? And why would he be fighting his own son? And Grisha is even more ridiculous. Why did he give Eren the power of the titan and tell Eren to save everyone if he wanted to kill everyone? Grisha couldn't have been a suspect ever since episode 2.

AoT has all of the best understated plot twists: * The scouts looking at the Female Titan from afar, turning back and talking for a bit before turning back and seeing the Female so close that you knew she was special. * "Wait.... This can says herring on it?" * "Stop" - S2E1 * "What if there are Titans that can dig under walls?" "I'm the Armored Titan. He's the Colossal." * Staring at the wall where Annie tried climbing at the end of Season 1 before it breaks and reveals a Wall Titan for a few frames. There are so many of these that it's insane. I wish I could erase my memories of it so I could watch it again for the first time
The ab thing in AOT is a really spot on choice from the animators. During this time period most people that aren’t the super wealthy would have to travel long distances to get anywhere and most of the food they would get to eat would be very lean. So abdominal, shoulder, and glut muscles would all be toned for everyone with bicep and back muscles not so much. I don’t know if that the reasoning but if it is it’s nicely done.

The armbands are like that of what Germany did to the Jews in the 1940s. The technology is somewhat a bit of a mix between World War 1 and Pre world War 2. Marley is kinda like Germany.
