You only need to drink the spinal fluid of a titan-shifter in order to taker their powers as stated by Rod Reiss right before he was about to make Historia eat Eren. So as long as a Eren drank the War Hammer's spinal fluid, he should have its power now. Although, it's worth noting that there may be another condition since we learned from the officer that killed Grisha's sister that the syringes contain titan spinal fluid but can only be used to create "Pure Titans". But that's just one of the many lose-ends I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Spinal fluid used on humans create the pure Titans. In order to steal a Titan power you need to drink a shifters spinal fluid while in Titan form. That’s why they turn people into pure Titans when transferring Titan powers.

Gabi is basically Eren on the other side. She even looks like a female design of him and experiences the same trauma of having her home town destroyed. We spent three seasons seeing only one side and are biased in their favor because of it but we shouldn’t just ignore them wiping out a city full of civilians just because we like them. Otherwise we’d miss the message about the futility of war and how everyone is victim and perpetrator eventually.

While Gabi was just under constant oppression and pressure, her parents are glad that she kills people and will die in 13 years, but at least they will become honorary marleyans.

Sad there have to be 9 or less shifters only. Or at least it seems like that. If it could be possible people who aren't close to the lifespan limit could live on, you would just deliver some sample of their spinal fluid to the pure titan but that's not how it works.
How ironic that after Porco was talking all that trash about Reiner, Reiner is the only one available to help him. This episode is so jampacked with emotion, action and plot twists. It feels like this season's "Hero" episode. Every second shifts the tide of the battle.
Zeke: "Let none escape. Kill them all!" Levi: "Don't die on me. Survive!" This contrast was amazing. It was established super early and is pretty evident even before we know much of anything about Zeke. In his introduction in the "Captain Levi" side chapter, Levi's character basics are quickly established, and one of the very first things we learn about him is how much he values the lives of his comrades and wants to make their sacrifices/deaths meaningful, regardless of any personal connection he has or doesn't have with them. We also see Levi very concerned about the Trost citizens starving in the Uprising arc, which leads Dimo Reeves to say in a pretty on-the-nose dialogue that Levi is "awkward yet kind" and trying to save Trost even though he "doesn't really have to". By contrast, something hammered home to us very quickly is that Zeke is relatively indifferent to lives lost in his quest to achieve his goal, the euthanasia plan. That isn't to say that he's completely devoid of empathy so much as he views the lives lost as inconsequential or necessary and doesn't dwell on them because he doesn't even really understand the value of life- "I saved them, the lives of those children from this cruel world" is what he says to Levi about turning his squad into titans. Setting up Levi and Zeke as narrative foils like this is really impressive, and more people should pay attention to this rather than the whole "Levi kill Monke" meme that barely scratches the surface of their dynamic.
Interesting fact, Armin's Colossal Titan does not have ears, so that he doesn't have to listen to the screams of the people he kills when he transforms

The crazy thing is, if this was the first episode of the series and we were looking at the story for the perspective of Marley, Gabi is literally Eren. I think Gilliard's Jaw Titian looked different because it was enhanced by Marley with hardening fluid. Ymir's jaw titan was the natural form of it. If she had the same hardening fluid applied, she also would have the ability to harden her jaws and claws too. I dont feel bad for them, I'm sure there were children who screamed for help when wall Maria was kicked in. I think you have too many people watching this together for it to be a good reaction. Most people are watching this in small groups or by themselves, and as a result are really carried away and moved by the emotional story. In contrast you guys are cracking jokes ect. It's obviously your prerogative but it doesn't make for nice vicarious re-watching to have such levity for something I found brutally emotional. I've noticed large groups tend to not get invested in the story and always miss the tone. If it's a funny episode they miss some key jokes, if it's an emotional episode they crack jokes, and if it's an important episode they miss key details.

Yeah but the enemy side is also rarely ever in “1V1” situations. The only true enemy Eren has faced that had no help whatsoever was Annie, and even back then, can’t fault him, he was still a novice. Every conflict after that, Reiner gets bailed out by bertholdt, Eren gets backed up by the scouts. Later on Eren had to hold his own against Reiner, the Jaw, and the cannon on the cart titan, until, again, Zeke comes to help. The shows conflicts play out like chess battles, rather than typical shonen where they “respect” 1v1s or side characters are rendered useless because of power scaling.
Armin just killed more than anyone in the show. He was such a sweet boy tho tbh tho if Erwin got the power, he would fucked shit up way more than Armin lol

yeh, sadly, that's what a lot of people see despite the great shift of perspective in season 4. it's mostly people who are only for the action or those who don't really read between the lines, which is why i appreciate reactors like filmbuff, sosbros, lm reactions, etc. season 4 lifted attack on titan from a simple apocalyptic series to a show that portrays reality wherein everything's grey. it's truly a beautiful show which a lot of people don't get to appreciate for what it *really* stands for (maybe till mr braus speech later on)

I think you have too many people watching this together for it to be a good reaction. Most people are watching this in small groups or by themselves, and as a result are really carried away and moved by the emotional story. In contrast you guys are cracking jokes ect. It's obviously your prerogative but it doesn't make for nice vicarious re-watching to have such levity for something I found brutally emotional. I've noticed large groups tend to not get invested in the story and always miss the tone. If it's a funny episode they miss some key jokes, if it's an emotional episode they crack jokes, and if it's an important episode they miss key details.

Yeah but the enemy side is also rarely ever in “1V1” situations. The only true enemy Eren has faced that had no help whatsoever was Annie, and even back then, can’t fault him, he was still a novice. Every conflict after that, Reiner gets bailed out by bertholdt, Eren gets backed up by the scouts. Later on Eren had to hold his own against Reiner, the Jaw, and the cannon on the cart titan, until, again, Zeke comes to help. The shows conflicts play out like chess battles, rather than typical shonen where they “respect” 1v1s or side characters are rendered useless because of power scaling.

It is really painful to see you react in these last episodes as you should be ashamed, angry and sad about what Eren and the other are doing but you're only doing the opposite. It feels really off to see you laugh so cheerfully when Marleyans are being crushed and sad as soon as someone from the island is hurt when the whole point of the manga is to show the stupidity of communautarism and the importance of communication & understanding...
yeh, sadly, that's what a lot of people see despite the great shift of perspective in season 4. it's mostly people who are only for the action or those who don't really read between the lines, which is why i appreciate reactors like filmbuff, sosbros, lm reactions, etc.
season 4 lifted attack on titan from a simple apocalyptic series to a show that portrays reality wherein everything's grey. it's truly a beautiful show which a lot of people don't get to appreciate for what it *really* stands for (maybe till mr braus speech later on)
